  Several years ago, this gentleman sent his team to repair the gutters on my garage. He didn’t show up when he said he would and he pretty much did a shotty job. Forward to today. It just fell for no reason. Now I have to have someone more qualified to fix it. I really regret giving this guy my money. I would advise you not to give him yours.

  Dina how many years ago is several? I can’t find you in our system and you might be under our workmanship warranty. This could be due to a multitude of things-gutters full of debris, filled with snow/ice from the BLIZZARD we just had, something wrong with roof and rotting the boards out, the list goes on. Instead of coming straight to Google to leave a 1 star review why wouldn’t you just call the office first? 414-331-7849, also we never not show up on time unless it was weather related or material shortage which we would have told you.   Honestly I didn’t think it was worth leaving a review since it’s all said and done but frankly I feel like it’s my responsibility to let other homeowners know of the quality of work done so they can make informed decisions. I got my roof replaced in may of 2022. Josh’s crew dropped off a dumpster in front of my house a day or two before the work was done and they showed up on time. They were efficient in tearing off the roof and gutters of my house and garage but the issues came when it was time to put the new roof on. For some odd reason my house has a 2” gap between the decking and the fascia. They did eventually add in 2x1 strips but that doesn’t solve the waterproofing issue which still existed.This was never properly addressed by Josh and when I brought it up to him, he brushed it off saying that the gutter would pull into the ends of the rafters, which would address the gap. He kept saying this despite me repeatedly calling and texting him that i had concerns about it. Ultimately I wasn’t knowledgeable enough in that period of time to properly argue with him so I let it go. The day the roof went on, all the gutters and a 15’ section of drip edge were not accounted for and were installed another day. The drip edge around the house was installed sloppily and when Josh and his worker came later to install the remaining 15’ of drip edge, it was another type and when installed it buckled up a section of shingles (you can see this in the pictures). On top of this the dumpster was left for 1-2 weeks in front of my house and we had aggressive and hostile altercations with scrappers who were flinging shingles all over the lawn. Not the fault of JRV but his failure to call in the dumpster to be removed definitely is. Also his team didn’t clean whatsoever. I had my window wells filled with shingles and the area around my lawn was littered with full shingles, nails and even packaging. They cleaned nothing at all. So here’s where I’m at.   The new roof had three leaks, shingles that fell off, and nail pops. Josh ghosted me and will not honor his warranty leaving me with thousands in damage he caused.

  I would not recommend JRV Roofing Milwaukee. He has not been upfront with us from the beginning. Roof was installed last fall was supposed to have a CertainTeed warranty but to this day still have not received a warranty of any kind from CertainTeed. Josh does not return phone calls or emails. He does not appear to be a shingle master. The last message I received from him was that he had 87 customers waiting on warranties that were not being processed by CertainTeed due to a website problem. I don't believe anything he says anymore. He has not been honest from the beginning. I went with him through a recommendation and to give business to a small business man. This did not serve me well. Josh does not seem to have a back bone to stand up and do the right thing for his customers. His actions make me pause and rethink about using a small contractor for anything again. I can't judge the quality of the work as I can't go up on the roof. He never stopped by to inspect the work his crew did. All I can say is so far we have no leaks.

  I paid them to put a new roof on my house in December and waited all the way until April and they were still saying because of the weather and because of material shortages they couldn’t start. I told them the tarp they put on my house in January was coming off and waited a month with no response. Meanwhile other roofs and other homes are getting done in March and April around my neighborhood. I went to Home Depot and bought all the shingles and materials myself and had it delivered and hired another contractor to install since my roof was leaking with the spring rains and I’m still waiting for a refund of $3250. I will update this review when I receive the refund. Update: Response to company's response: Refund recieved May 10, 2022, a week after threatening legal action in writing via email. I have all copies of sent emails, texts, phonecall history. They never even told me they were waiting for my money back from a supplier until I sent that email. Up until late March,early April their excuse was always the weather and I tried to be understanding. Then they ghosted me until May. I easily purchased all necessary materials on my own with no problem sourcing it. Then paid another contractor cash to install within a few days. . No it's not nice, BUT IT'S THE TRUTH. And I have the proof. Prompt and transparent communication and response is key, especially when I tell you THE TARPS HAVE BLOWN OFF AND THE ROOF IS LEAKING AND DAMAGING THE INTERIOR OF MY HOME.

  Well this review is interesting. You did sign up with us in December and I said there was a slight change we could get it done in winter but we would prefer to wait until spring. As most of you that live in Milwaukee know this spring was extremely difficult for businesses that operate outside due to heavy rains almost daily, and when it wasn’t raining it was snowing, and or just extremely windy. We like to start up our roofing season when the weather clears up a bit and that’s exactly what we did. The materials were hard to get due to shortages that are happening in every industry. We ordered the materials and paid for them with the down payment. You cancelled our contract and we issued you your refund when we were refunded for the materials. Don’t worry we covered the restocking fee for you. You did receive a check from us so you trying to make us look like we too the money and ran isn’t nice.

  Everything about JRV Exteriors was great. From the initial contact w/ Josh, to the visit by Joe to look at the job and work up an estimate, to the thorough job by Chewey (sp?), it was A1. I needed repairs for my leaking roof and gutter/downspout repairs, and JRV came through for me. Highly recommended!

  Hired JRV to do our roof and gutters. Josh and Joe was very open in communication throughout the duration of the project. Up front about any additional costs, no suprises. They were able to work around our schedule and address any concerns we had. I would hire them again if I am in need of similar services.

  We found a water leak in one of the upstairs rooms of the house and called JRV Exteriors. While it was still raining (same day), JRV Exteriors was able to dispatch a tech to inspect and diagnose the issue. The tech was very polite, courteous and informative. He took photos and videos to clearly explain the issue to us and what we can do to fix the issue. It is so refreshing to work with a company with this high level of customer service. I would recommend them to anyone.
