I truly hate leaving negative reviews or speaking poorly about a company, and I completely understand that unexpected situations happen. Reese was a nice guy and pleasant to speak with; however, the communication and handling of this situation were extremely disappointing. We discussed beginning the work as early as Thursday and no later than Friday. I was told the crew planned to arrive Friday at 9:00 a.m., but at 8:20 a.m. I received a message stating that the workers were sick after being exposed to mold. I was understanding and was then told they planned to begin Monday and that I would receive answers to my additional questions shortly. For clarity, I had not approved the quote because it was vague, and I needed confirmation on a few items before agreeing to it. However, I was still being given planned start dates and was told my questions would be answered. Monday came, but I received no answers, update, or further communication. I would have completely understood if they were unable to move forward I simply needed someone to communicate that to me. Instead, I lost valuable time waiting and now have to restart the process of finding another contractor, further delaying the reconstruction of my home after water damage. As a military veteran, I value punctuality, accountability, and clear communication. I genuinely wish this had been handled differently, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Jeffcoat Contracting.

Jeffcoat Contracting LLC is the best roofing company in Columbia. I worked with Chandler Sox and he was so professional, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to help me with my home insurance claim. I had several other roof companies not willing to do the intel report my insurance company required. Chandler did it with no issues and followed up to make sure I got the report for my home insurance claim. My favorite realtor, Ashley McGee, referred him to me and I truly appreciate both of them. I would highly recommend this roofing company to anyone. Thank you Chandler!!

I had great experience with Jeffcoat twice for roof repairs. Their response is ultrafast with both diagnosis and repair. This was not the first contractor I had to deal with, but definitely the best.

Jeffcoat Contracting was referred to me by a friend that had used them and was well pleased. I called and Jacob came out and went in my attic and climbed on my roof and told me exactly what my problem was. I had leaking in my attic but not inside yet. Jacob said water was coming in around my dormers, chimney and roof vents. No damage to shingles was seen but they were 22 years old, so whole roof would need to be replaced. He had an estimate to me the next day and I agreed on color and told him to replace. The day came and there wasn’t supposed to be rain until late in the day, I woke up to footsteps on my roof at 6:15 am that day and they worked diligently all day, even through an unexpected rain shower. Had a few wrinkles but Jacob made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Roof was finished in one day. I am so impressed with this company and their work ethics and employees. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you Jacob for your professionalism and representing your company so well.

These guys are great to deal with from start to finish. With so many untrustworthy contractors out there it was nice to find a professional company that showed up when they said they would and do what they said they would do. Jacob Frye was great in pricing out the job and managing the project as it progressed and staying involved every step of the way. We will definitely recommend Jeffcoat Contracting to others and will be using them in the future if the need arises.

Very courteous and thoughtful salesmanship. Completed the work in one one-day and removed all discarded waste material from my property the next day. Five-star rating! Good hire for your roofing needs.
