They caused water damage inside my mom's condo while replacing her roof. She spoke with the foreman while they were still there and he said they would fix it. No one ever showed. She called several times and they finally sent someone out who only did part of the repair. She has since been told they are not sending anyone back, they don't fix damage they cause. What kind of company does not repair their own damage. I would not call these folks, they do not stand behind their work obviously.

I’m sorry there has to be a misunderstanding? Please call me I’m the owner and I will resolve this immediately. Joe 586-615-1908.. I will take this up with the foreman but the office was not informed of any issues, please call so we can resolve.

Called about my roof leaking over the weekend, and wanted a quote for additional work. I was told I would get a callback on Monday, but that didn't happen. I should have called somewhere else instead of waiting for the call back.

As past president of Hampton on the Green Condominiums in Rochester Hills, I took on the project of replacing the roofs on our 40 year old buildings. A project no other board wanted to tackle. After interviewing several candidates, the board unanimously voted to award the contract to J Taylor Construction. J Taylor would replace deck wood, shingles and improve ventilation on all 23 buildings. The total cost was $1.5 million. Our City threw many unexpected issues our way and Joe navigated each one successfully without costing us more money and informing me of every twist and turn so a decision could be made. Our residents and board found the crews from J Taylor to be friendly, helpful, honest and responsive to problems following up as soon as they heard there was an issue, The properties were always protected while work was being done and cleaned up at the end of each day. Communication between the board and our residents was outstanding as we knew at least a week ahead of time the schedule for the next set of buildings and we could get flyers out, post the information on our community board, and go door to door answering any questions. Each day, our Project Foreman, Dave, was easy to track down and discuss the project's progress. Joe and his team went above and beyond in making sure our residents were satisfied every step of the way. Everything that was scheduled to be complete was completed as promised. The project took about six months in total. Thirteen buildings were started in the Fall of 2025 and the last twelve were finished in Spring of 2026. J Taylor was the best choice we could have made for this huge undertaking. We have satisfied residents and a board who no longer needs to spend money on roof repairs each month. I highly recommend Joe Taylor and his team from J Taylor Construction for your commercial project. Sincerely, Paula Peters

J Taylor Construction did a great job with my siding and gutters several years ago, so when it was time for me to get a new roof, there was no question who I was calling. The communication from Joe and Dave was top-notch every step of the …

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My experience with Joe Taylor Construction was outstanding from start to finish. They were one of four companies that came out to inspect my roof and provide a written estimate. From clearly explaining the estimate to helping me select the perfect shingle color, the entire process was seamless and professional. The crew arrived promptly at approximately 7:30 a.m. on June 12 to remove my old roof and install a new roof, including new skylights. I was amazed by their efficiency, workmanship, and attention to detail. By 5:30 p.m., the job was completely finished, and the property was thoroughly cleaned up. I couldn’t be happier with both the process and the final result. The new roof looks fantastic, and the level of customer service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Joe Taylor Construction to anyone looking for a reliable, professional roofing company. I would confidently recommend them to all of my family and friends.

I had my 2 car garage roof done by J Taylor beginning of May 2026. They gave me the lowest price of anyone. Did the job the following week after the quote. Cleaned up afterwards. Just absolutely top notch service!! I also had my house roof done 8 years ago and it still looks fantastic! Thank you!

  J. Taylor Construction (Joe and the crew) just completed a beautiful 24-gauge Galvalume standing seam metal roof on my new build at 5029 N Beach Rd in Englewood, FL. They delivered exactly what was promised in the contract — high-temp underlayment, quality mill-finish panels with proper flashing and sealant, bullnose drip edge, ridge cap, and all accessories — and the finished roof looks excellent. The price was fair, and what stood out most was how the team went out of their way to make sure everything was done precisely to my specifications and to my complete satisfaction. They were professional, detail-oriented, and easy to work with from start to finish. The cleanup was thorough, and the roof was installed cleanly and efficiently. I’m very happy with the final result and would highly recommend J. Taylor Construction to anyone looking for quality roofing work in Central West Florida. Great company and great crew — thank you!
