The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for J&X Contractor Corp. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

J and X were excellent. Their pricing was fair and best of all they came to our home in two days to fix our roof and siding that was damaged from the most recent storm. We also added a few extra jobs (ie. Replace blown of shutter from window) and they were happy to do so. Very happy with their work, and professionalism. I would absolutely hiring them again!

When I met with J&X for a chimney repair on my 200+ year old home, they assessed my damaged chimney and we discussed what repairs were needed. They repaired, fabricated a new facade with cement/paint and furnished a chimney cap. Additionally, they repaired damaged shingles and removed any algae build up that was present. They were on time, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend! Please see the before and after pictures!

The brothers stopped by on a nice day while I was outside. They offered to give me a free estimate for my aging roof. While I have my roof inspected each fall when I have my chimney cleaned, I was happy to get a second opinion. While they were on my roof, I heard some hammering. They were fixing some loose fascia and re-nailed a loose shingle and flashing. Once done, they told me my roof was fine but is getting close to needing replacement. I agreed. This was the same diagnosis as my chimney cleaner (who does not repair roofs). They offered me a fair estimate and I plan to give them a call when the time comes. Very polite and professional gentlemen. Fully insured with new equipment. Thanks for the repairs, and be safe up there.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 5 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 5, of which 4 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on J&X Contractor Corp. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
