  They happened to call me after the resent storm to see if I wanted someone to come out to inspect the roof. I agreed and we scheduled it for Monday, August 17th between 11am and 12pm. Messaged me the night before and the morning of and got a no call no show. I Messaged back and still got nothing.

On August 11th, our entire community was hit by a devastating storm that knocked out power for over 300,000 residents and left hundreds of homes with trees collapsed onto their roofs. Our team has been working around the clock for over a week under emergency conditions to respond to hazardous, high-priority roof collapses. Like hundreds of thousands of others, our operations lost both power and internet service for a few days including the day of your appointment, which temporarily compromised our ability to send timely rescheduling updates. While we always strive for precise scheduling, our immediate priority during a major severe weather event is securing active emergency damage for safety. We regret that we were unable to reach you before your window. Our priority was—and will remain—helping families in immediate danger. We did tried to reach out to you to reschedule the appointment, and thanfully you were able to find someone who could help you.

  Well we had our first rain after the new roof got done we found water in the bathroom on the floor from our vent on the ceiling. I have to have them.come back out again to check on it. I just got the roof done less then a week so why is thia happening

The storm that swept through our area following your installation delivered 100+ mph wind gusts. It created a major community crisis, cutting power to over 300,000 people and causing severe structural destruction across the region. Winds of this magnitude—which tore entire trees out of the ground and destroyed structural roofs across our community—far exceed standard design thresholds for any residential roofing or ventilation system. No standard roof or ventilation cap is built to completely block water when subjected to hurricane-force, wind-driven rain and severe storm pressure. Given the catastrophic conditions and widespread destruction in our area, performing reliably under extreme pressure is something we take pride in.   Did not care about roof inspection no photos were taken, no call back. Pulled in at 9:09am left at 9:13 am.

  Inspector was a no call, no show. I had to reach out to the company in order to be told that he wasn’t coming. Used up 4hrs of vacation time waiting on a service that never happened. 100% unprofessional.

We attempted to reach you by phone at that time to coordinate, but we did not receive an answer. Regarding the reschedule, we genuinely tried to fit you back into the calendar for later that day. Unfortunately, due to currently operating with a limited staff, we simply did not have the opening to accommodate a second trip.   UPDATE OCT. 2025: I've had two foundation repair companies investigate the egress window, where we've experienced ongoing flooding since moving in. (The company's reply falsely states the flooding only occurred recently.) Both contractors have said the egress window was not installed correctly. The "drain" installed in the window well fills up immediately with water. One of the estimates I received is over $3,000. My father and I moved into a renovated house in spring 2024. Ivan's Roofing was the general contractor. In the summer, I realized the A/C did not work. Ivan had someone to check it out quickly, since we were in a heatwave. The technicians stated that a valve in the A/C unit was not opened during installation, which led to it breaking when we turned it on. I appreciated Ivan's fast help and his replacement of the broken A/C unit. At the time, he told me that his company would guarantee any work done for up to three years. Since we moved in, we've had ongoing issues with leaks and flooding through a new egress window in the basement. A handyman worked on this issue multiple times. I also bought a wet/dry vacuum. The handyman said the window was never properly sealed. The latest damage cost more than $500 to fix and the team had to pull up the carpet, revealing old vinyl flooring that wasn't removed during the renovation. They found large cracks in the foundation underneath the old flooring. More recently, we've had plumbing issues, sewage backing up into a new toilet and sink that is never used. I had a local plumbing company look into what was happening and the technician said whoever installed the pipes for a new bathroom and shower didn't do the job correctly. He came out twice to clean the pipes and said that since there weren't any branches or yard waste, the issue was within the house. He said I should contact the general contractor, since repairs could be expensive. The implication was that this was negligence on the part of the general contractor. I

Johnathan backed a trailer into my gate and did not say anything about the damage. I didn't notice it until he hit my city trash can and I got out to inspect it. The gentlemen who did the work speak Spanish and I am not fluent, so I couldn't even express my concerns while they were here. I currently hear hammering on my home while I'm inside working, yet no one was scheduled to fix the errors today. I should've had male family members here to oversee the work. It really feels like they didn't respect me as a customer because I'm a woman.

  Do not use this company they lied to me and said I would need a new roof based off the damage they assessed. They then proceeded to tarp half my roof. Couple weeks go by my adjuster comes out and we discovered only two shingles needed to be replaced. They really didn’t debate with the adjuster either. I waited a few days as they would quote me for the two shingles. They never called emailed nothing. After doing some brief research the damaged shingles I replaced on my own. $100.00 out of pocket. The bulk of my time on the roof was filling in the holes they left putting my tarp on.

We observed more than just a couple of damaged shingles during our inspection, and it's a known challenge that insurance companies often aim to limit payouts on claims, especially for roof damage. We always work to build the strongest possible case for a full replacement when we see significant damage. We also want to clarify that we didn't charge for the tarping service. We provided that as a courtesy to help prevent water intrusion to your home while the claim process was underway. We truly wanted to help resolve this for you. We made attempts to reach out and also requested that you share the estimate from your insurance company. This specific estimate is crucial because it allows us to understand the insurer's position and to effectively debate or appeal their decision on your behalf. Unfortunately, without the estimate appealing for a full approval is not likely. If you're willing to reconnect, we'd be happy to review everything and see if there's still a path forward.

  We had a great experience with Ivan's Roofing! From the estimate with Jamie to the job being completed everything was impressive.
