  Avoid Howard’s Roofing at all costs. I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. Yesterday, I scheduled an appointment through their call center, received confirmation for the next day, and was looking forward to getting help. About 30–45 minutes later, I get a call asking for photos of my gutter, which I promptly sent. After that—silence. Our confirmed appointment window was 11–1pm. No one showed, no one called. When I called to check in, I was told “they should be there by now, I’ll contact the technician and they’ll call you.” No call ever came. I called back, same story, with a promise to escalate to a supervisor. Again—nothing. After waiting another hour and a half, I called again and was met with the most unprofessional, rude employee I’ve ever dealt with. She immediately blamed me, saying they had tried calling and left a voicemail. I was on the phone at that very moment confirming there were no missed calls, no voicemails. This was not just incompetence—it was disrespect. They wasted my entire day, offered no accountability, and treated me as if I was the problem. The woman on the phone was argumentative, unprofessional, and absolutely should not be in a client-facing role. Howard’s doesn’t communicate, doesn’t show up, and doesn’t care. I have no idea how they’ve stayed in business this long except by taking advantage of people. Based on my experience, this company should not be trusted with your time, your property, or your money. Do yourself a favor—stay far away from Howard’s.

  The roofing crew did a great job handling the needed repairs and replacing the roof underlayment. They shared progress photos during the work, which gave helpful context and showed the condition of the roof at each step. Troy and the crew worked hard each day, stayed on schedule, and cleaned up the area well when they were done. The daily updates on job status were appreciated and made the whole roofing process easy to follow. Everything looks professionally done, and the work appears to have followed the right steps for a quality roof repair with solid attention to detail.   The roofing team was great. Troy walked us through the whole roof replacement process and gave us support from start to finish. They were there to meet with the adjuster and carefully checked around the house after the job, picking up nails and leftover shingles. The crew was professional, friendly, and easy to work with, which made us feel comfortable and confident. They worked hard, protected our plants and outdoor areas, and kept the property neat during the roofing work. Our new roof looks excellent, and the job was finished in just one day.   I woke up one morning and found several leaks around my 52 inch skylight. At first, I was not sure if the problem was the roofing or the skylight itself. I called a roofing company, and Troy and his crew responded quickly. They inspected the area, took on the job right away, ordered a new skylight, and handled everything smoothly. The new roofing work looks great, and they matched the existing roof as closely as possible. The new skylight also looks excellent. Since it was a little smaller than the old one, they had to do some extra finish work around the opening, and it came out beautiful. The whole roofing repair process was professional, the pricing was fair and straightforward, and the workmanship really showed.   We decided to replace all the gutters on the front and back of the house, along with the shed, and the whole roofing and drainage process went very well. Troy came out to inspect everything, take measurements, and give us a clear quote. The full estimate was sent quickly, and the team also offered to move us up if an earlier opening came available. A short time later, we got a call letting us know the installation could be scheduled sooner, which was a nice surprise. The crew gave us a morning arrival window, showed up within that time, and completed the gutter installation efficiently in just a few hours. They worked carefully, kept the job moving, and made sure the new gutter system fit the home and shed properly. The finished work looks great and should help with roof runoff and water control during California rain. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the results and happy with the service from start to finish.

The crew arrived right on time and managed to finish the whole roof replacement in just one day, even swapping out several sheets of damaged plywood along the way.
