  Hi Ivan, I'm very sorry to hear that you had this experience, but I can say with 100% certainty that it was not done intentionally, and it was not because you had a small job. After I got your message I went back to see what happened and it looks like we never actually got a signed contract from you. You signed your roof certificate / inspection report, which is why you originally set the appointment, but you never signed an actual agreement to get the work done. I do see that our team reached out to you in December and you were supposed to get a call from our rep and it does look like he dropped the ball there and did not get back to you like we should have, however I don't have any record of you ever reaching out again since December. You said you called in May, but we unfortunately do not have any record of that. I am truly sorry for this misunderstanding and we would love to come out and get the work taken care of for you. We tried to call you on Saturday, Monday and today, however we have not been able to get in touch with you. I understand if you decide to go with someone else because of this but I want you to know that I, the estimator, the owner and management, do take this very seriously and am sorry that there was a misunderstanding. I see the scope of work was to seal all your roof penetrations and we would be happy to help you now if you would still like us to move forward with the job. I'm sorry you had this experience and will do anything I can to resolve this situation. Thanks, Amanda

  They don’t seem to care about small jobs. I hired them for a roof inspection in December. After the inspection, they recommended several repairs totaling about $400. I accepted the estimate and never heard back from anyone. I made multiple attempts to contact customer service and was repeatedly told I needed to speak with the representative who visited my home. Since I had no way to contact him directly, I waited for a callback as instructed, but no one ever followed up. I tried again in May to schedule the repairs and was given the same response. Now no one is answering the phone at all. Very unprofessional experience. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

  Cesar is unresponsive to questions. His proposal lacks of details. When asked for detail, no effort of changes was made, but increasing the price. When he worked with our neighbor's roof, a lot of additional cost was added. Be careful. Not waste your time with this company.

  I receivedpoor work and had to call another company out to do same job. Wouldn't recommend them to do work for you.

  Hi Quincy, I'm sorry that you feel this way. We did work for you back in 2022, then you rehired us to do a second job in May of 2023. In the second job, we couldn't fix the leak you had on the first try, we gave you our recommendations on how to fix it, but it was going to be a higher cost. You did not want to move forward with the additional work, so because of the fact that we were not able to complete the repair with the original scope of work, we didn't charge you for it, and you said you wanted to go with a different contractor. We didn't charge you for the work we did and we parted ways with the understanding that you were going to use the money you didnt pay us to get it fixed the way you wanted with a different contractor. We did not do poor work, and we didn't charge you for the work we did do.   I got an inspection done by a worker from Howard an sons but it seems I was descriminated because of my gender I asked if Howard an Sons had Financial payments an that was the end of it.I had texted an called but the person that answers the calls said he will get back to me an they never did. .Note I do have a great credict score an all I need it is the 18.000 to be an 2 payments 50% down & rest after job was compleated ....it is sad to know thatA woman can not stand by her word without a man .Now I must asked my brother to speak for me to get my roof repairs somewhere else.

  Hi MJ S, I'm extremely surprised to hear this review. I am the one in the company that talks to both men and women about getting financial help. We have worked with a lot of different people from both genders and all walks of life, needing financial assistance and ones that don't, but we have never discrimintated against someone because of gender. If you wanted to talk about this further I would be happy to give you information about all our financing options. As part of just a normal quote, we ask for a 10% (max $1,000) deposit before the job starts, then 50% when we deliver materials and the balance once work is completed.   Service technician never showed up for appointment when I called in to see what was going on they gave me 500 excuses and none of them checked out. I never got a call or anything. Very unreliable I could have went with someone else to stop this leak ASAP.

  So far not great at all, they scheduled an install date prior to having the items they were installing. On the day of the install I had to track them down to find out why they did not show up. I will update this review again after they have installed my order.

  Hi Tom, I know there have been some delays because of manufacturers not having the doors and windows available on the days they say they will. I do apologize that our team did not reach out to you like they should. That is something that is in our control, and we are working really hard to fix.   I originally asked for references from an internet "list" service and received several references.The closest was 60 miles from me, and the estimates varied by several thousand dollars. All business addresses were either a store-front or a personal residence. None of the above raised any confidence. On my own, I found Howard & Sons. They are a local company with a real business office and warehouse. The estimate was accurate and fair. The work was done on time and efficiently, with no costly surprise add-on's. The people I dealt wit were friendly, and knowledgeable.

  I would like to comment on this company because they saved me a lot of worry and money. After experiencing a couple of false appraisals from local “handymen” regarding a leak that was caused by a “handyman’s” poor work, I called this company for advice. This wonderful man by the name of Scott did an appraisal with pictures of the entire roof and informed me there was nothing wrong with the roof. The problem was the faulty work of a previous handyman-which had nothing to do with the roofs construction. If I do have a problem with the roof in the future, I will call them. Honesty and integrity is what consumers want. You will find it with Howard and sons. Thank you.

  This company was amazing to work with. They were excellent in the work that was performed. The owner of the company even came to my house (drove over 100 miles) to go through everything with me in person and answer all of my questions. All of the people I interacted with were very professional. They left the job site every day in an orderly and clean manner. They went above and beyond in so many ways. Even when they made in error in their estimate by undercharging me, they honored the estimate and did not charge me more for materials. Great company!

  Our large, enclosed patio room had several leaks. I called my close friend, a former contractor, and he recommended Howard and Sons as they did a good job on his roof. I made an appointment for an inspection and quote. They were pleasant to deal with and finished the job on time.

  Careful, meticulous, courteous, and hard-working---that's how I would describe the guys who replaced my tile roof(Reuben, Daniel, and Carlos). Martin at the office was helpful with answering questions and concerns. Don't expect a new roof to be placed in one week, but DO expect excellent quality of workmanship. These guys have installed a roof that looks great, and will last me 30 years, I'm sure!
