Installed a roof on our cabin about 20 years ago. Started having a leak several years ago and has gotten worse so have made so many calls to them I can't keep track. Puddle in bedroom about one foot in diameter in the middle of the floor. Responsive? Not Maybe a return call once every three or four phone message left for them. Even paid to have them "service" and inspect the roof, seal vents, etc. about two months ago. Still roof leaked. Hired a repair person to repair roof. Did not trust Copp Roofing at this point. Repair person discovered no underlayment was put around one skylight near where the leak was but in an adjoining room today. Only some metal flashing that did not keep water out. Then repair person found again today (after Copp maintenance was done) they did nothing around the chimney. Copp did not do what they were paid to do. He found a hole in the roof under a metal piece next to the chimney. Leak for sure. Repair person repaired it. Would not recommend Copp Roofing for the long haul. Looks nice when installed. But then the service ends. Expensive and still had a leak although after paying another roofing company $1000 I think our leak is fixed. No thanks to Copp Roofing. And not proper maintenance they were paid for. UGH!

Hello Karen, We’re sorry to hear your frustration with the leak issue at your cabin. Water intrusion can be stressful, and we understand how important it is to get to the bottom of it. In October–November 2025, you contacted us to perform specific maintenance and repair work. At that time, we completed the requested scope of work, which included removing and permanently filling in one old and existing skylight, performing a roof tune-up, replacing the ridge, and conducting water testing. We also returned to perform an additional water test focused on the valley and the remaining existing old skylights, as those were the areas you were most concerned about. The skylight we removed and the areas we serviced have not shown leaks. During the process, you later shared that the leak may be related to the chimney not being shimmed correctly. A chimney contractor would be best suited for any shim issues. We stand behind the work we performed and always aim to respond and assist when customers reach out. We genuinely appreciate the opportunity we had to help and are glad to hear the leak has now been resolved.

We reside in the City of Diamond Bar where COPP was hired by the City to do resurfacing of the streets. COPP broke the side walk between our neighbors and us . Why we don’t know it was not damaged and cabling was done. During that process part of our stamped concrete was damaged by them. We had the City Public Work come out and they agreed and gave us their number. We called Hailey COPP and she said we have pictures that was already like that. She forward pictures from the Google Satellite picture and the picture clearly showed shadows . We submitted to COPP that were taken before after they broke up the side walk. Hailey COPP said okay will have someone look at it Today, a very rude man came to our door . He never told us his name and said I won’t fix it’s City property. He turned around and got in his truck and left. We called COPP to speak to Hailey COPP but the secretary informed us that she was not available and that the man that came was the owner of COPP Contracting, Inc out of Buena Park, CA He was extremely rude, unprofessional and arrogant. The entire company does not own up to any damage they cause.

The foreman on our roofing project brought his dog every day, allowing it to wander around unwatched and unleashed despite being told repeatedly to stop. He argued he was just going to keep him in his truck, which is inhumane in itself. 4 days in we arrived home to find the dog in our neighbors yard. There was very little communication. Calls and e-mails to the company did not help.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We want to assure you that we are aware of the situation and have taken steps to address it. As a gesture of goodwill, we provided compensation of $1000 to acknowledge the inconvenience caused by the presence of the dog. While our foreman and crews do not typically have animals or pets at job sites, our foreman found himself in a unique circumstance that left him with no choice but to keep the dog with him throughout the week. The dog was kept in the vehicle with plenty of ventilation and was regularly let out while being attended to.We understand that this was not ideal, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you. Throughout the project, we made efforts to communicate with you regarding the situation, and we apologize if our communication fell short of your expectations. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our communication channels moving forward. Please be assured that we have reinforced our policies with our team to prevent similar incidents in the future. We are committed to delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional customer service. Once again, we apologize for any distress this incident may have caused, and we appreciate your understanding.

I had 2 rows of cap shingles replaced and 2 pipes sealed and got a bill for $2500!! I tied to contact them numerous times to get a better breakdown of what had been done because the bill said “roof tune up” and was not broken down further. (The guys told me the specifics of what had been done when they were here —took 2 guys 90 mins to complete repairs) When I asked around, numerous contractors confirmed that this is huge price for so little work. I won’t use them again. On the plus side, their guys are very professional and left my place tidy. Their reply is hilarious! They don’t even have a record of my business. Another sign of their unprofessionalism.

Hello Kristy, Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. We do not have a record of completing any work for a client under your name. If it was perhaps under another name, please reach out to us so that we can review the work that was completed with you. A roof tune-up is recommended for every roof every 2-3 years to keep the roof clean and free of debris that can lead to buildups and potential leaks and also to re-seal the roof pipe penetrations which are also likely suspects for leaks. This service is often coupled with repairs that involve the ridge cap or ridge shingles. The length of the ridge cap is different on every home. For longer ridge cap repairs, more material and labor are required. These types of repairs can range from from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars depending on the length and condition of the ridge cap shingles. We look forward to having the opportunity to speak with you directly to find your project and review any additional questions you may have.

Don't honor their warranty. Poor quality work. Cut corners that caused damages to our home. Don't return phone calls. We had a full roof replacement done here in the fall. As soon as the snow started to melt we began to see water damages seeping into the ceiling and walls. We called the company several times; they always claimed the manager was not there and they'd make a note for him to call us. After two weeks of this my husband demanded to speak to him or come there to do it. He called right back. The manager said they'd have to send someone out, but that they could not if there was any snow at all on the roof. It's winter. There are repeated snow storms. Of course there's snow on the roof. Every time is melted, they aren't available to come. Damage from their negligence and upholding their warranty to a customer should be a priority. Getting it home insurance involved pressured them to come look at the roof. They immediately claimed it was not their fault. Said it is because the chimney is wet around the base. Why is the chimney wet around the base? Because they installed no flashing at all when they installed the roof! They offered to calk around the base, which is absolutely not the correct fix or material for the issue. They them offered to mitigate what they claimed was the chimney issue for several thousand dollars. Problem continues to worsen and it's an ongoing battle with them, the home insurance and us. Damage spreads with each snow and rain storm. Both levels of home affected. Also, a great deal of the shingles have cracked, visible when snow first melted.

Dear Ms. Mitchell, We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. We understand your concern and frustration regarding the water damage issue. We have thoroughly investigated the matter and have determined that the water damage is unrelated to the new roof that was installed. Upon further inspection, it appears that the siding on the chimney box was rotting, which allowed water to enter the interior structure. We understand the impact this has had on your home and we sincerely apologize for any distress it may have caused. We acknowledge that there were delays in our response and scheduling repairs during the winter season, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are committed to providing timely and efficient service to all our customers, and we are taking steps to improve our communication and responsiveness. If you have any additional questions about your warranty and what it covers, please contact us or GAF directly at 877-423-7663 or guaranteeservices@gaf.com. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

I hired the company to repair 2 roof leaks in the roof and one off of a deck I was not present when the repairs were done. Both of the roof leak and deck leak were not repaired after the work was done. The rains came down hard during the winter of 2019 and water was everywhere. After the water damage in both unrepaired leaks, I called up Barbara Copp, the owner, She sent a worker named Brandon and they said they would repair both the leaks and repair the water damage on the ceiling. On the phone and in person, they told me they would repair what I paid them to repair--FIX THE LEAK. Unfortunately, after telling me they would repair the leak, Barbara Copp instructed her workers to say that I needed pay for an inspection to figure out where the leak was coming from. Their sales rep Nick Malta, through numerous several phone runarounds then reported to me that COPP ROOFING DID NOT GUARANTEE THE REPAIR OF LEAKS.--- that their contract did not guarantee the repair of leaks. I would have to hire someone to figure out why their roof repair did not work. They did not inspect their work after the work was done and have no guarantees of fixing leaks. COPP ROOFING WILL pass your phone calls to various employees to give you the runaround while your house continues to have water leaks. I have never had the level of dishonesty in dealing with a roofing company. After a roofing job is done and there are still leaks, roofing company usually come back to continue repairs. With COPP ROOFING, they did not guarantee any of their work. This is why I will see them in court. UPDATE: After leaving this review and taking the owner (Barbie Copp) to small claims court, I was harassed by calls from various male employees of Copp Roofing. I have asked around from various contractors in Lake Arrowhead, and they do not have a solid reputation among contractors; in other words, they are overly expensive and do not do quality work. They are not honest. I received at least 7 hara

Copp Roofing was very professional and helpful when we needed a new roof. They worked with our HOA and handled permits. The cost estimate was very accurate with only a few, minor change orders. Copp Roofing was timely and communicative, sending us progress photos along the way. We highly recommended Copp Roofing

I have used Copp for several projects. Other than phone/text conversations, I never personally met with the assigned contractor at the work site to go over the plans thus, your contractual Statements of Work (SOW) are vary vague which are not much more than a bullet line summary of the work to be done. To me this just opens the door for creating irritating change orders. On the good side, all the past and present jobs have been very high quailty and always get completed.

Copp Roofing did a fantastic job on my roof replacement! I had interviewed numerous companies and roofers over a few years but only Copp gave me the peace of mind (A+ BBB rating, insured, bonded, Contractor’s License, photos of completed jobs) I was after. I regularly spoke with Connor about the job, who answered all my questions and concerns and sent over several proposals while I decided on the best option. My house had 3 layers of shingle going back to 1941 that needed to be demoed (meant adding the additional slats, plywood, moisture barrier, drip edge flashing, any vents, HVAC flashing sealant etc.) so it was a big re-roof. But they nailed it (no pun intended)! Connor always responds and always answers any questions right away. They even removed and re-attached my gutters and cleaned them! I decided on GAF Hickory and love the color! Super professional, beautiful results, highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience with Copp Roofing from start to finish. Connor was our project manager and main point of contact, and he was extremely responsive, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We did a full roof tear-off and replacement, including a thermal barrier, and the crew that came out was fantastic. They were on time every day, very respectful of our property, finished within the estimated time frame, and left no mess behind! Before choosing Copp, we got three estimates, and Copp Roofing stood out as both the most reasonably priced and the most professional. They also lived up to their great reviews. There were no high-pressure sales tactics, no pushiness…just clear communication and straightforward answers to all of our questions. We couldn’t be happier with the final result and would absolutely recommend Copp Roofing to anyone looking for a reliable, professional roofing company.

COPP Construction is nothing short of AMAZING!!! We felt like family from the very first interaction with the employees. We recently had three decks rebuilt on our home in Blue Jay, Lake Arrowhead, CA after they had collapsed in the 2023 snow storm. Two of the decks were multi-story high with construction on a steep slope on the backside of the house. The project crew was extremely friendly, professional, and experienced offering ideas for modifying original plans that made more sense for the reconstruction. The COPP construction manager and crew were in regular communication with us and the project engineer from the beginning to the completion of the project. The decks were started and completed in the time frame that was projected on the contract. We couldn't be happier with COPP Construction and everything that went into working with EVERY single one of their employees (and the owner). Thank you so much, COPP Construction! We appreciate you ALL and would recommend your company 100% to anyone that needs any large or small job completed. We will be contacting you again soon to complete a roofing project. THANK YOU, COPP!!! You truly helped make this rebuild so easy on us after what started from a devastating event of our decks collapsing.

Thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful review! It was an honor to help rebuild your decks after such a difficult and devastating experience. Working on a steep slope and coordinating the multi-story construction required careful planning, and we’re so glad our team helped make the process feel smooth and manageable. Our entire crew truly enjoyed working with you, and it means so much to hear that you felt like part of the Copp family from the very beginning. Thank you for trusting Copp Roofing & Construction with your home, for recognizing the care and communication that went into the project, and for recommending our team.
