  They came out and the good thing they were fast in trying to replace the swamp cooler. Once installed it worked great for the first week then noticed it would blow warm on the lowest setting and a leak was coming from the living room vent. We tried calling, messaging, and emailing them for weeks about it, with no response at all to any of them. Now it has stopped working all together. This could have been fixed if they just come to fix it from the start. I'm beginning to think because I'm a truck driver and never home that they saw two ladies at home that they were a good target.

  Did several damages, I have a list but because Johnathan got paid in advance he never came back to fix anything. Regret doing business with him. Would not recommend to anyone. Very poor service.

  Replaced my roof. Didn't fix a leak I had because it was coming from a different area of the roof. Still have damaged decking (soft spots) on the roof. Called they addressed the spot of the roof damaged they couldn't fix but didn't offer to fix the other damaged decking. Was 5 at first but after talking to other roofing companies and a contractor it should've all been at least offered to be fixed.

  Hi, I was just out running and one of your employees getting into your work truck/trailer whistled at me not once, but twice. I spent the rest of the run frustrated about this and wondering whether or not I should say something, and then realized that I shouldn't feel worse about posting this than they should about doing it. Hoping for less of this and more roofing for your company in the future.

  Hello Kelly I’m sorry this affected your day and not in a good way. I’ve spoken with the guys and they tell me that the whistling wasn’t intended towards you. It was towards another guy on the crew to get his attention. It was a wrong place at the wrong time kind of situation, and my guys do know better than to cat call let alone garner any unnecessary attention especially on job sites. Again we apologize for the misunderstanding.

  This company is amazing! After dealing with other contractors in the past, I was honestly expecting some level of stress—but this was the complete opposite. They were direct, honest, and didn’t play games with pricing or push anything unnecessary. When they said they’d be there, they showed up. When they gave a timeline, they stuck to it. That alone sets them apart. The crew worked hard and efficiently, and the quality of the roof speaks for itself—it looks incredible. What really impressed me, though, was the attention to detail and how seriously they took cleanup. They treated our property with respect the entire time. It’s rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise without excuses, but that’s exactly what happened here.   Hornet Roofing was one of the few local Companies that came out to give us a quote. What set them apart from others was the quality of materials and the turn around time to complete the work. And to top it off they threw in free gutters! Had him do the siding later too.

Low-slope or Steep-slope it’s always important to make sure you’re tearing a roof off all the way down to the decking. 1. You want to make sure it’s a solid and nailable surface, that means no rotting, delamination or damaged decking due to any water or humidity. 2. Your roof system is only as strong as what it’s attached too, which is why we can’t stress enough the importance of a quality and solid decking. 3. Wether it’s Redecking the entire roof or just replacing a couple sheets or planks in the long run it’s one of those things that cost more in the long run if you don’t take care of it ASAP.Jun 24, 2026
