I had a terrible experience with Herbert Shifflet Roofing. I would not recommend this business. I called Mr. Shifflet about a roof repair. He showed up for the initial meeting to inspect the roof. While he was on the roof, his assistant …

If you value your house as your #1 asset then listen up to some truth. In December, I contacted Herbert Shifflett Roofing to redo my roof. I wrote him a check in a huge amount to fix my home. This was December 9. Well they came over here …

Mr. Hall you know we worked on your home for almost 2 months. Even when it raining I am working with the lead team on safty protocol and We have bought all your woodwork, permits, safty equipment, dumpsters, insurance. Paid labor. Bought and inatalled felting along with your roof tear off and 2 months rental on the debrie cleanup dumpsters cause you had a hot tar roof tear off with the gravel and thats 6 to 10 x the load a regular home with shingles consist of. 10 x the work. I never stopped showing up. When my team showed up I had already trained them that morning at least 2 hrs on what to do for safty and correct deck protection.. etc.. Every time my team showed up they was directed by me and trained by me in the city codes and the manufacturer's codes along with oceas Codes Didn't understand why you thought it was funny when my lady workers had on safty gear on your flat roofing sir. You still got a 8-10 ft drop if the perimerter is anywhere gotten next to. I dont chance my help, or insurance. Your insurance and most important we do not chance our workers lives. You sent letter to fire my lady crew by not telling them to show up and you hired my man crew out from underneath me the same day. Then sent threats all over the internet. It was just a week before I came over before the rain started and Id stopped a leak like I was supposed to. You gave me a 100 dollar bill and told me to take it. Where did the Jimmy go I remember that I used to be the forman too when we worked together roofing. You know I was letting Tony know about the rain and the dry ins but when the woodwork started. You had a letter for my team to no longer be there. But my woodwork crew was super in your mind. Mr Jimmy. Am I lieing? Are you really telling the truth? Did you not hinder my team the whole time they worked so hard and then talk about them to me and me to them? I know you have a heart. I dont know why you want to stop forward progress when the team you call super was my hired crew. M

I'd give Zero stars if possible. He offered a "special" on Facebook to fix chimney flashing. He came out with his wife and took a look at it--I signed a contract and gave him $100 up front. After a few weeks and excuse after excuse he said he needed a lot more money. I told him I wanted my $100 back --still waiting. Beware.
