  TLDR; horrible communication/customer service from this company. Woke up one morning late February to a leaky roof, and Hammerdown was able to get out that day to give me a look. We found out my roof wasn’t up to code, so scheduled more thorough repairs than I thought would be needed. That’s fine! Gotta do what we gotta do. They gave me the name of a Solar installer who could get my panels off & back on for me, and we got to work. On 4 March, I got an e-mail from Hammer Down that said the city had cleared the permit & we’d start on the 6th. Great! That went fine, and they were in & out in less than half a day on the 6th. The work was great, and I do appreciate that. The problems started when I contacted the Solar contractor to get my panels put back on. He said we could not do it until the roof passed inspection from the city. No big deal! I contact Hammer Down about it that same day (6 March) and was told they would let me know when they heard something. Time slips away, and I hear nothing. On the 13th I sent a text, and was told I’d hear when they did. On the 17th I texted again, and got nothing. This happened over and over. They stopped taking my calls for a while, only picking up if I called from a different number. When they did answer texts, there was little to no information. Fast forward to 24 April, and I was finally able to go to city offices during office hours. They told me the permit wasn’t actually issued until early April, and that I was likely getting the silent treatment because part of the permit included a pre-inspection. They gave me the number for the city inspector, and he contacted them & got the ball rolling for me. The inspection finally happened on 1 May, almost two months after the work happened. On 5 May I spoke with an employee on the phone & asked for the owner to give me a call. I told that employee that I would be asking for a partial refund when I spoke to the owner. It is now 20 May, and I have heard nothing. My texts are eve

  The team at Hammer Down has done multiple roofs for us and each one went as planned and for the budget we set. They always show up when they say they will and most importantly share a dedication to attention to all the details. And in roofing - details are what matter the most. Highly recommend.

  Just wanna take this opportunity to think Jason Yvette, and everybody that worked on my property. I am so appreciative and thankful. Jason was very professional when he came to do his estimate. He was very honest. And straightforward and I appreciate that. I can’t believe how fast everything got done. I thought you need your roof done was gonna take weeks. But thank God it didn’t. They literally were there a day and it was done. The roof looks amazing and I Definitely would recommend!!!

  We are very happy with our new roof! The whole process was great and the two guys were very nice, on time and as told the job was done in a couple of days. I have a lot of respect for them, working so hard in this terrible heat. Also impressed with all the other people from your office to the boss Matt. I never met Jason only spoke with him on the phone and he was very nice as well, he seemed concerned about my issues and informed me that his boss would meet me the next day. Matt was at my home as expected. He listened to me and my issues, then got on the roof. I thought I had one leak, but he informed me that l will have more. I was disappointed knowing that I was having these issues as my home is less than 7 years old. At this time I was feeling overwhelmed and Matt was very helpful understanding my feelings and explaining my options. I did get 2 quotes and I am blessed to have called Hammer Down (2nd quote) and met Matt. It was only logical to choose Hammer Down and fix all with a new metal roof. I am blessed as well to be able to afford it. Thank you so much! God bless Hammer Down!
