  BLUF: Do not use GRB. I would rate their customer service a 0 out of 5 and the quality of their work a -3 out 5 (you read that correctly). When there is an issue with the roof THEY replaced, they are unable to adequately address it and it could cause you further damage and rework down the line. I reached out to GRB September 17, 2024 upon referral from my friend who used their services earlier in the year. We both have townhomes, but hers is in MD and about 20+ years old, and mine is in DC and over 60 years old; however both are roofs were about 10-15 years old. I start this review by saying she had a positive experience with GRB and the quality of their work. Unfortunately, I did not. First, it took the rep 2 days to reach out (via text) to ask if he could come by that day for the consultation. He arrived an hour late, didn't go on the roof, and explained that "they do houses in DC all the time."  He was impatient and rushed me, even though I had questions about financing and whether they would be able to do mold remediation for the damage inside my house. He said I can "figure that out with the office."  I did not enjoy the consultation experience and planned not to go with them, but they had the cheapest financing by far of all 5 quotes I received (all of the quotes I received were within ~$1k of each other). No assistance was provided with navigating financing, and after receiving payment, no one reached out regarding scheduling until I sent a strongly worded text message and then I was "upgraded" to a "manager" who called me once and then also returned to communicating via text message. It took 9 days to schedule removing my roof with no real communication or explanation. I was notified 48 hours before my installation, no confirmation of whether that day worked for me or not, no communication on what to expect--nothing. On the day of, a man who I had never met, and who didn't introduce himself arrived and knocked on my door asking to plug in a piece of equipm

  Contracted GRBroofing to install a vinyl fence. Henry was really responsive in the beginning. After helping him procure the site plans needed for the CAD documents and getting HOA approval. Delay after delay after delay turned into 2 months …

  Good morning, we greatly appreciate your feedback. We are sorry that we were unable to work together. As time tipped before and in the past due to HOA approval ect was very hard to have a set date to start work. As we are scheduling work everyday for customers. We also offered a refund to you.

  Leaving my first review to make sure other folks know how terrible this company is. The customer service was a mess. As soon as insurance took a bit longer than expected (they said upfront they work with insurance) they started stalker texting rudely and daily. I plan to post the text messages. Of the $17,000 paid, they had to use a bit more plywood costing a grand total of $1000. We let insurance know, took about four weeks for the check to come in, they text everyday threatening a lawsuit. Came to the house too. Over $1000 in extra plywood. It was crazy. I will be sure to let everyone I can know not to work with them. DONT DO IT. Hire professionals. Response to them: It’s just been nothing but stress honestly. Please take a look at their response below. Threatening to sue for defamation over an honest google review. That should tell you enough. Just awful. Please, don’t be duped. Find another company and save yourself this headache. They don’t deny the stalking text messages or showing up unannounced at our home because they can’t. At least they admit I had to block their number because they keep threatening us over text. Please, for your own peace of mind. Find a reputable company.

  Wonderful service!!!!! A team member came out the same day I called for what I thought was an attic issue only to find out it was a drywall issue. Even though they realized ahead of time that it was not a job that they would handle, the technician still took the time to look at my attic, answered some of my concerns and referred me to a person that could help with the issue that I have. They were quick, very courteous, and knowledgeable. I am saving them on my “digital roll-a-dex” for when I do need attic repairs.

  We decided to get our entire roof replaced and the experience with GRB was excellent from start to finish. During the estimate, Henry was honest, shared a lot of information and answered our questions. There was no pressure to agree to anything. We have solar panels on our roof that had to be removed and reinstalled. GRB coordinated that with an authorized solar contractor so it was seamless for us. That process added a day on the front end and a day on the back end, but in terms of installing the new roof it was literally finished in one day. We would highly recommend GRB to our family, friends or anyone looking to have roof work done.

  Great experience work done by Mr. Henry Tuck and his crew. Roofing shingles and gutter replacement project completed in a day, was unbelievable. Great job, highly recommended.

  Super pleased with using GRB Roofing the owner came out and gave me an estimate was very knowledgeable and kind. By the next week I had a brand new roof. Not only did I have a brand new roof but I also had a new skylight and the exhaust fan pipes in my attic extended out of the roof with venting for a very reasonable price. Not to mention my skylight now has a share with a remote that I previously didn’t have which made me hate my skylight. Replacing the skylight with a built in shade with remote was definitely a surprise and delight. Would highly recommend if you need a new roof.

  The Kenny Shay deal with me about my house roof replacement, he was very cooperative and supportive. Knows his job very well. All project went perfectly according to the plan.   GRB provided fair quote, scheduled quickly and arrived as planned. Work was performed quickly and professionally. I had an issue with a couple downspouts and they returned and corrected immediately. Very happy with the gutter replacement and new gutter guards.
