  Sorry we couldn't help with this one! Turning someone away is hard for us too, because we really do try to serve everyone who calls in. If we can't, we do our best to keep a rolodex of industry contacts who might be able to. Our teams are manufacturer certified and highly trained, and right now our crews are scheduled out on full siding and trim projects — so we believe it is better to be honest when the timing or setup isn't there to give a job the attention it deserves. That changes with the season and the schedule, so we'd always rather someone call and let us take a look than assume the answer is no. If that didn't come through on our call, we apologize and we'll convey it better next time. Best of luck with the project, and we hope you get it taken care of.   Brian we are genuinely sorry the inconvenience. We looked into it, and it was a breakdown on our end from a missed email. It tears us up because our team works hard every day to be a company that answers and communicates well. We are putting new systems in place right now so a request like yours can't sit in one person's inbox. More specifically we are moving more towards text messages and using email for formal quotes or Document signatures which should provide the fast response times. Thank you for letting us know because it makes us better, and it's something we're getting fixed so we can serve our clients better!

  I used Capitol Improvements in 2021 for a flat roof redo. Pat, the owner was extremely responsive especially considering COVID issues. The installation of the new roof was quick and had a great finished product. Recently, I was having a bit of trouble, and reached out again. Pat came out again and quickly diagnosed the issue and it has now been resolved. Highly Recommend! Thanks!

  Capitol Improvements were professional at the very start of the project starting with prices and statement of work. Me and my wife met with all the workers and owner during and after the project was over. I would recommend CI to anyone and everyone that looking for good prices and quality deck and patio work.

  What I would like to say about the company. They are super-efficient, very reliable. Excellent work at a wonderful rate. Pricing is incredible. They did my roof my windows and my vinyl siding on my extension on my back porch.Don't waste your time going with any other company in the region.Use capitol improvement i promise you will not be disappointed.

  I've lived in my home for more than 15 yrs and I decided to get a new roof because the shingles on my town home looked worn. I did some research on roofing contractors in the DMV area and ran across this company. After taking estimates from another contractor as well, I decided to go with this company after meeting Pat, the owner. On April18th, Pat came out to my home and explained the roofing process to me, helped me determine what color shingles I could choose from that were HOA compliant and what I would be getting in my warranty with their company. The visit was very informative. After accepting his initial cost proposal (which was not too far off from what other contractors were charging), the next day, I paid the down payment in order for the work to begin. I was told by Pat that the work would start 8 days after the contract was signed and the initial payment was received. (April 20th). After a few delays and communications with Pat, my roof project was completed almost a month later. Pat apologized for the delays (to no fault of his own) and as a result he discounted the final price of my roof install (which took a day to do...even after needing 24 sheets of additional plywood). Despite the delays, I would recommend this contractor again. They proved to be fair, knowledgeable, honest and left no mess after the job was done. Thx Pat.

  Capital Improvements did a great job replacing my deck. They were prompt and quick to respond to all of my questions. The quality of material and workmanship came at a great price in the current market. I would highly recommend them to others looking to replace or repair their decks.

  Capital Improvements did a wonderful job completing new siding on our house. My main contact Ron, was always quick to respond, communicated clearly and never made me feel pressured on my decisions. The crew that arrived and completed the job, were above and beyond. They were kind, quick and they cleaned up the job with nothing left behind. Would highly recommend capital home improvements for any job for your home.

  Great company. My roof was done in one day. They cleaned up so well. If it weren’t for the new roof, you’d never known they were even here! Everyone I worked with; Pat, Caleb and Seth were professional and helpful. Seth kept me informed on the progress of the work (I wasn’t home) and sent me pictures so I saw the hidden damage under my old shingles. I highly recommend Capitol Improvements and will use them if I need any other exterior work.

  Capitol Improvements was absolutely great. They provided top quality service when remodeling the siding in my home. The contractors were extremely friendly.They worked before sunrise and stopped after sunset. Pat and Ron made sure that the job was done right. Capitol Improvements get a 10 out of 10 from me.
