  📢CHANGING MY REVIEW📢 This company was contracted and paid in full on 2/14/ 2023 to replace our residential roof due to leaks from storm damage. Roof continued to leak and it was a nightmare trying to get the owner to respond. I had to use a neighbor's cell phone to contact him because he was ignoring calls. Coincidentally, he answered on the first ring using somebody else's cell phone because the caller ID came up with someone else's name. He sent somebody out to fix the leak for a second time and here we are August of 2024 and the same spot is still leaking. We aren't expecting anyone to go above and beyond but we are expecting to receive the quality of work we paid for. At this point the owner is ignoring all phone messages and not returning phone calls. Understanding that his business may be extremely busy ,(due to the storms) I've given John the owner weeks to respond to me and he has failed to do so. So I'm doing what any consumer would and expressing how we've been treated so others didn't run into the same. I'm going to add that his company damaged interior ceilings of my home when his workers dropped a roofing shovel through my bedroom ceiling. They did fix the damage the same day and within a week we were able to retrieve their lost equipment in our attic and tried for months to return equipment. It was only when we had an additional leak that the owner came to retrieve their roofing shovel. In closing, because the owner refuses to uphold their 10-year workmanship warranty (that we have in writing) I'm going to have to escalate this to the NCDOJ and the BBB. We've been advised to have the work repaired and we will submit the bill to Gowan for reimbursement one way or the other. 📢10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND 📢

  We are in the process of moving and the inspector said some shingles were an issue. Called John Gowan on Thursday afternoon and told him my issue. He said no problem, see you Saturday morning around 10:30. The guys were here a few mins before 10:30. John even came…on a Saturday morning The guys took care of our roof very quickly.
