  Had problems with workers not being able to complete section of roof correctly. Had to keep addressing the issue and was stalled for weeks. Once complete roof was leaking into the soffit. I had to repair the soffit and the leak is stilll persistig as of 6-3-26 I am continuing to try and get this addressed as the roof is still under warranty. I have been calling and did a walk in and provided video footage and I continue to be stalled and put off. The video footage I currently have is too long for this review, so I am unable to display the issue.

  Gorilla Roofing came through out private neighborhood soliciting roof inspections after a storm. MANY of us in the neighborhood used them for repair. The roof works great but the customer service is atrocious. And I do mean atrocious. We could never find out where were were financially, showed up to the office to try and figure it out and could never get a clear answer. We had paid 40K already. There were many things to be done and we decided to hire others for lanai screen repair as well as painting. The statements we received over and over had these line items included. The original contract was written upon 10/18/23. TWO YEARS AGO! They are now saying that we owe more and have always owed more yet they could not tell us 2 years ago when we were actively trying to find out. Why could they not tell us 2 years ago that we owed this when we were dealing with insurance and all of the things we needed done. We are paying what they said we still owe. We contacted them over and over wanting to know our balance. We literally could never get a clear answer. Be warned.. if there are storms that come through.. do not take the bait for solicitation from this company. Speaking with many of our neighbors, they’ve had nothing but trouble. You decide if you want a hassle. At least 3 of us would ever use them again.

  Kelly I am sorry that this was your experience two years ago with some of our office team, who are no longer with us. You are right that you should have had a better customer experience and more clarity on where your balance remained throughout the process. Working through insurance claims can be very time confusing and difficult and we have since significantly improved our processes and customer success plan so homeowners like yourself are educated and given very clear expectations multiple times throughout the process, so you feel at ease and confident along the journey. Thank you for making your final payment and while it was late, I'm glad I was able to clear up the explanation of the costs that your insurance paid out for and we were still able to deliver on our promise where you did not come out of pocket, except for your deductible which is required by law, and you were still happy with the roof replacement itself. It should be noted that we have served 5 other homeowners in your neighborhood and none of which have complained...in fact I believe even a couple have left 5 star reviews here. I wish that would have been the case for you but I understand your frustration and we wish you the best!

  Honestly, I’m not impressed with their marketing approach. Earlier this week, their salespeople came through my neighborhood despite a very clear “No Soliciting” sign on my door. They rang the bell and knocked anyway, waking us up after I had just finished a night shift. Not exactly the respectful way to win over a potential customer. If you’re going door-to-door, please respect people’s posted boundaries. Thanks, but no thanks.

We extend our gratitude to you for whatever work you do that has you serving and providing for others while most of the world sleeps. And yes you should be able to do the same without interruption. And while I don't know how exactly this happen as it is not our practice to disregard "No soliciting" neighbors or signs from homeowners, I am sorry and would like to make this right.   Hiring Gorilla Roofing was a huge mistake. They totally botched the job from jumpstreet. They were to remove a skylight as stipulated in the contract. I came home one day and I now have a brand new skylight. They made mistakes with the insurance company and I lost $10,000 in reimbursement. They insisted on putting a new surface and paint on the garage ceiling. The painters arrived and we had to remove everything from the garage. I am a disabled combat veteran and this was not an easy task. They completed the texture and said they would return to paint. They never showed up. In the interim, I received three separate invoices. I made multiple calls to Gorilla Roofing and spoke with many different people as well as numerous phone messages. I never received a call back. Several months past and I received a nasty letter stating I have not paid my ballance and they plan to take legal action. I called Mr Anderson to ask why he sent such a threatening communication. He immediately became biligerant and hung up. I reported to his office the very next day to pay in full and to give him a piece of my mind. I know this is a long story, but if you take the time to find an alternative for your roofing needs, please do so. My experiences with Gorilla Roofing has been a nightmare.

  Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and that it did not meet your expectations. We strive to provide the best service/products, and we regret that is your feelings on your project We would like this opportunity though, to clarify the situation. Gorilla Roofing did have a difference of language in a settlement with your insurer, and that in turn locked us into doing the project for the Actual Cash Value, not the Replacement Cost Value of the project scope. True to our values, we completed the project in full. The depreciation is always paid to your contractor and is always withheld until proof of completion, as the first check (ACV) typically covers only enough for material and labor (ACV Check). This cost Gorilla Roofing 10K, not you. At no time are you or any homeowner able to receive "reimbursement" from your insurance company. At no time were you charged anything outside of your deductible. The depreciation that you consider your loss, was Gorilla Roofing's loss. Homeowners are never able to profit from insurance proceeds, or receive any "reimbursement". Again what would they be reimbursing you for, you only paid what every law abiding citizen does in an insurance claim and pay your deductible. Any reimbursement thoughts, or ideas of receiving unsolicited funds from your insurer strictly violates all insurance laws in the State of Florida and beyond. In any event, we completed the project to the scope of your insurance estimate regardless of the difference of opinion with your insurer, and the skylight covering was not part of the scope. We apologize for this request you made wasn't completed at first, but we did try to rectify the issue, but you did not return the calls. After months of no response and never making any sort of payment, we had to send a collection letter to you as you paid nothing up front, even though your original agreement with us that you signed stated that the ACV check was due

  100 percent scam artist, had them look at my roof and when they were done looking at it they said here's the estimate just sign here. When I asked why I had to sign for an estimate he seemed to get a little defensive, so I said ok but let me read it all before I sign and he kept saying you don't need to it's just an estimate. Well I'm glad I did look at it line by line because his "estimate" was actually a contract and was trying to trap me into using them. One line stating something along the lines of it I try to cancel I'll owe them money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, how dare you treat people in this manner I'm so happy my father taught me to never sign a thing until I have read everything. This type of stuff can put people in serious financial issues and they don't seem to care because they will get their money. SHAME ON YOU GORILLA!!!!! karma will catch up and prayers to all the unfortunate people you have screwed.

  Terrible!!!! All I have received from this company are excuses. Signed with them the week following Ian and still have NO IDEA when or if I can get a metal roof from them! Dishonest - nothing but excuses from this company. I will begin to pursue breaking my contract with them and start from scratch finding a roof company over 6 months after the hurricane. But they did send me a bill for a shingle roof (go figure). Ridiculous! ~~~~UPDATE~~~~ Since I posted this review, Kevin Koehler has been assigned to my roofing job. WOW!!!! What a 360!!! He has been responsive, thorough, completely transparent and has restored my faith in this company. While the roof is still not totally complete, much work has been completed and I’m feeling much more confident that it WILL be finished soon. I will post another update after completion. Thank you, Kevin.

  Very very unprofessional!! I feel like John the Owner, boss and working... Is a crooked and he's Very untrust worthy... When I showed up to the office that's more like a front for he's kid Play pen because. He has just Literally running around on top of desks.. Coworkers looking at each like, we know it's bad... Haha ok? You can never get a answer out of him or his wife.. A true Answer.. And that's if they pick up your phone call.. When I was in the office I noticed that he was not answering any phone calls.. He subs the work out Not no Nobodys, Does not oversee the work.. It took 4 months just to get the materials, I talk to 6 different people because the last guys and girls judt Quit they say, They say hes a Terrible person.. Long story short there's better roofing companies out there.. you don't have to pick the bottom of the barrel it's your roof that you're number one foundation, So I highly recommend picking up a Professional!!

  Gorilla brought storm damage to our attention, helped us through the insurance process (insurance company fought it all the way, but finally paid - we only had to pay our deductible). Support team was always friendly and helpful, installation team was excellent - friendly, dedicated/motivated, good install, including clean up.

  The reps at Gorilla roofing were great. They assessed the roof and found out at I had storm damage. They assisted me with making an insurance claim and assisted me through the process. After getting an insurance award, they set the time for the roof. The roof crew was great and did a lot of extra work on the house. Everything was lined up from solar panel removal and re-installation to gutter installation. The roof looks great and Gorilla roofing was by our side the entire time.

  I’ve gone through three roof replacements, so I don’t say this lightly—Gorilla Roofing is hands down the best roofing company I’ve ever worked with. From start to finish, their professionalism stood out. The quality of workmanship was exceptional, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. Every detail was handled with care, and the finished roof looks fantastic. What really sets them apart is their honesty and communication. They were straightforward, transparent, and kept me informed every step of the way—no surprises, no runaround. On top of that, they maintained an incredibly clean job site throughout the entire project. That level of respect for my property did not go unnoticed and is something many contractors fall short on.   Gorilla roofing did an excellent job from working with the insurance adjusters to the legal team to installation. Scott and his team were grate to work with & very professional. I highly recommend them and would use them again.If there is a need.
