  Hired to replace patio roof to stop a water leak. Brought in some inexperienced "workers" that failed to properly seal the roof causing it to leak as bad or worse than before. They seem to just hire dudes hanging around outside of Hone Depot to do work that requires professional experience and knowledge.

  I had three different companies come out and give estimates. They were all very close, but Jack with Gio was the only one that went up and check our attic. That sold me on Jack and Gio and we went with them. We are very happy we did. Their workers were extremely professional and very clean. And Jack is an incredibly charming fellow to deal with.

  My roof was 28 years old and still in okay shape, however there were some leaks in my garage and, since I was re-stuccoing the house and adding new solar panels I figured this might be good time to replace my roof. Tony, my contact at Gio Roofing, went into my attic, took pictures and showed me that, in addition to the leaks in my garage, there was evidence of some small leaks in the attic as well. Time for a new roof! I ended up replacing my attic insulation, too, because it had turned to crumbs after 54 years. Tony went through all of the steps and explained exactly what to expect. He's extremely knowledgeable, straightforward and friendly. Once the permit was approved, things went quickly. The insulation crew did a great job. The roofing crew did a great job. The roofers really went above and beyond. They installed a solar attic fan and did a lot of work on a section where the eaves needed to be cut to make room for a patio cover. And they did a beautiful job on that section. I highly recommend Gio Roofing.

  We needed a new roof and a redesign over our bathroom. Tony was phenomenal with communication and a very competitive price quote. Workers were professional, respectful and did quality work. Highly recommend.

  We had an old tile roof (25-years) that was in a decent condition (no leaks, but had been repaired). The recent winds and rains in LA loosened several tiles and given our upcoming solar panel install, we decided it was time to get our roof re-roofed for the future. We requested several quotes. Only two roofers got back to us. Both eventually came out for a walkthrough and proposal but Tony’s attention to detail and customer service really caught our attention. After a thorough discussion, we ended up going with an attic clean, tile roof demolition, new underlayment, and new shingles for our approx 3,000 sq. ft. roof. Attic cleaning: Our attic is approx 1,700 sq. ft with blown in insulation and a nasty rat infestation. During the roof replacement process, they vacuumed out all the old insulation, rat-proofed all openings, sanitized and laid new roll insulation for our entire attic all in one day. Re-roof: The company covers replacing 10% of rotting plywood for free but the roofers discovered we had a lot more damaged plywood once they uncovered everything. The cost of the extra plywood was reasonable and they even included replacing some extra beams for free (they were rotted due to termite damage). They went above and beyond our expectations without coming back to us for more money on the extra work. Permit & inspection: GIO handled all aspects of the permitting and inspection process (passed both inspections on the first try). Customer service: Tony B was very prompt and courteous during the negotiation process. All his workers were also very professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. Tony kept us up to date throughout the process and informed us of each stage of the re-roof progress.
