  Water damage from improperly installed drip edge and owner told me thats not against code and they arent responsible for the water damage. Complete hack job and I would stay as far away from this company as possible. The owner told me to basically go screw myself.

To clarify, the previous homeowner elected not to have the drip edge metal replaced during the project, as it was not a requirement of the Pikes Peak building department at the time. We always aim to provide options and inform our clients of their choices during the project process. While this issue is beyond our workmanship warranty period, we would be happy to provide you with a quote for the work you’d like to have completed.   Contacted the company in July. The PM Cody S informed us they would work on our roof in September. We waited on them for two months. Now we were told they have thousand jobs and will not take my roof. Extremely bad experience with the company!!!

  Just a FYI to any disable or otherwise disabled person. These people were my nieghbors. They made so many complaints to our landlord about my dog who is registered and trained to act when I am having heart issues that I had to leave the building. The landlord continued to threaten me from their complaints. With all of the stress and the state of our economy I closed my business. But I hope you consider the type of person who would do this to a fellow person before doing any work with them. I am so sorry it came to this but I have to let everyone know who these people really are.

  Gardner Contracting has replaced our roof, our gutters and painted our home. They are very professional and quick to respond. I will continue to use them for my home improvement projects, I highly recommend that if you have any needs for home repair reach out to Gardner Contracting first

  I really lucked out by going with this excellent company. I know several people who also got new roofs recently with different companies, and each of them was unhappy with theirs in some way--I alone got a really great roof, a pleasant experience throughout, and a lot of valuable documentation for my house, by going with Gardner. They were recommended by my Nationwide insurance adjuster after I was burned by my first attempt at another company, and the insurance working well together with Gardner was also extremely advantageous. I researched as much about roofing as a layperson possibly can for this, and was entering into it with longstanding wariness with past contractors. I worked with the wonderful Cole G. and asked fully one million questions, all of which were answered thoroughly and kindly, without ever letting on how annoying I must be. The roof was all done exceptionally correctly and well, and was gone over with a fine tooth comb afterwards to correct any minutiae I desired. I'm so glad to know that if I relocate and need a new roof in the future, with this company I would actually have only one job, which is to pick out what color I want (and to make sure I do everything I can up front to make things easy for the work crew, as they won't ask for anything).

  I hired Ben and his team to sand down my front patio railing, caulk the edges, fill holes with putty, prime it, and re-paint it with the original color. I was amazed at their incredible attention to detail and the quality of workmanship (and 5-year warranty!)! I was even more overjoyed at the breadth of their services…is there anything they can’t do? I would hire them in a heartbeat for the next home project!

  Gardner has been everything you can ask for in a contractor, and then some! They did a full roof replacement back in 2013 (insurance on a hail claim). The installation went without a hitch. Subsequently, the GAF shingles used were found to be defective, and after only 9 years or so were deemed to need replacement. I contacted Gardner to see if they could provide invoice details required by GAF for the warranty claim. Chuck voluntarily stepped in to work with GAF directly to "cover" some of the expenses GAF was refusing on the warrany claim, and to do the installation of the new roof. Chuck's comment to me was that he wanted to make it right, even if GAF was not covering everything that they should. The installation of the new roof went without a hitch, and my out of pocket expense was much smaller (by thousands of doillars) than GAF and another contractor originally quoted. I now know that at least some of the new installation expenses were absorbed by Gardner, even though they were not at fault. 6 Stars! Thank you!

  Thr Gardner Contracting crew was absolutely wonderful! They always arrived on time and were very courteous to all our homeowners. They also did an exceptional job of cleaning up each day in additional to sweeping for nails with magnets …
