  Screwing down directly to the deck sheathing is only giving you a 1/2 in to 5/8in bite on the screws, and most roofs are OSB. I see screws backing out eventually. Most manufacturers require and 1in bite for warranty purposes. Wonder what these roofs will look like in 10 yrs? Guinea pigs . Edit Response: I’m not slandering with my original comment, I’m just pointing out obvious potential problems with your method of attaching the metal roofing. Can you get away with direct to sheathing attachment?Sure on certain roofs, but not most sponge soft OSB. Way too much expansion and contraction.

  Hey Mike, we install all of our materials based on Florida building code and manufacturer specifications. Existing Decking material is out of our control but if there is bad wood we replace it with CDX plywood not OSB. Direct to decking installation is accepted for plywood and OSB with state code and manufacturer instructions. We work tirelessly to ensure our business is successful and giving a 2 star review hinders us greatly. Please address the number of stars so we don’t lose business as a family owned and operated business that puts forward incredible amounts of effort.

  During the hurricane in October 2024 my roof suffered big damage needing a total roof replacement. I had a couple quotes done by different companies and Frontline Roofing definitely stood out with best prices for the best product. Once into contract the job was scheduled and completed in less than 3 days. The entire process we were dealing with insurance having many delays, but Frontline Roofing was very patient and understanding. I am very grateful and pleased with the roof results, excellent customer service and great prices. 10/10 would recommend!

  Frontline Roofing was great to work with. Brian did the inspection & showed us photos of damage from leaks. Some we were not even aware of. He walked us through the process of types of roofing materials available & cost.The crew worked hard all the time. From 7am to 7pm & cleaned up at the end of each day. I would recommend them to anyone one that is in need of roof repair or replacement. THANKS FRONTLINE!
