UPDATE: The owner’s response is factually incorrect and misleading. I never “chose” or "moved forward" with this company; I terminated contact once they failed to even show up for a simple scheduled inspection. To suggest I "paid for nothing" ignores the fact that I had to take off work for an inspection they skipped without a phone call or apology - which they had double-confirmed with me just prior. Their defensive and dishonest response here perfectly illustrates the lack of integrity and aggressive communication I experienced during the consultation. Original Review: I don’t usually leave negative reviews, and I don’t take it lightly. But it’s one thing to offer a different scope—it’s another to waste people’s time. That kind of disregard for others, and to me, speaks volumes about a company’s priority and character. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what I experienced with this company. They stood out as the worst, strangest interaction by far—and I say this after extensively vetting 7 reputable roofing companies. I initially contacted them about a minor garage roof leak. I received an email from someone named Steven asking me to call, but when I did and asked for him, the owner who answered was aggressive and visibly irritated because I called him Steven. It turns out Steven had already left the company, but they hadn’t bothered to update their email signature. Despite the odd start, we moved forward with an initial inspection. Our roof is 8yr old. Every other roofer we consulted confirmed it was in good shape and needed only a minor repair (there weren't even a single missing/damaged shingle). Fitz Roofing, however, insisted the entire roof was "beyond repair" and needed full replacement. When asked about fixing just the leak, the owner dismissed it and pushed for a wind/hail insurance claim, calling it a “50/50 chance.” The worst part: on the day of the 2nd scheduled inspection with our insurance adjuster—double confirmed in advance bc we had to call off wor

This rating is 100% based on service and not the quality of the work. Quality was good, but last year in April 2025, I contracted with Fitz Roofing to replace my roof. They did this at a fair price and did a great job. I was contacted by my city months later, in August, telling me that the WPI8 certificate was not filed with the TWIA. The city informed me that the roofer should submit this. I contacted Korey several times via email. When he finally responded, he said the "Engineer" must submit this. He and his company are the engineers. He's the only person I spoke to. He gave me the pricing, the warranty information, the build specs, etc. Now, he refuses to reply to my emails. He and his company are the only ones who can do this. I'm only asking that they do what they are responsible for. File the certificate with the TWIA asap. Without this certificate, I cannot get the appropriate wind coverage insurance I need and am required to have. I have filed a BBB complaint as Korey won't respond...also note, his company is not BBB accredited but did say they were on their website.

I don’t like doing things like this but here goes…… we used Fitz Roofing in December 2020 to replace the roof on our house. As you all know thats not cheap. Well we haven’t had to contact them for anything until now. We have a few shingles lifted, issues with the flashing, and our roof was never certified through windstorm, not sure how that got past me and my insurance company, but it did. My main concern is the certification. We have tried to contact them through several phone calls, Facebook, their website, emails, and even left voicemails on the owners phone, been doing this since last week. I even tried to schedule an appointment through online booking. Someone on the Fitz Roofing team text me, I called the number no answer, then I texted the number with a message stating what I needed- no response! This is no way to run a business. I understand things happen and slip through the cracks but own up to your mistake and take care of it, don’t avoid the customer. Maybe they’ll get my message now. 😊

Ver interesting interactions with this company. Called bc they put a roof on a house(in 2020) I purchased. 4 years into a supposed 5 year warranty. Called asked them to come out. They explained that I should’ve called to transfer the warranty when the home was purchased, they wouldn’t cover anything that was “an act of God” unless something like the flashing was wrong. said okay, understood, regardless id like to see what the original roofers have to say about this leak I have in my roof since they were the ones doing it. Had a gentleman from Tennessee office come. Never once shook my hand, never even greeted me, very unprofessional. He told me the flashing was improperly installed (something that the office lady said would be covered under the warranty) Verbally quoted me something for that repair and a few other concerns he had. I asked him for a written quote. He said he’d get it to me by the end of the day. Never came. Weeks passed. I called the office was told that roofer was hospitalized and another guy was taking over his clients. STILL NO CALL. These folks are probably those insurance chasers that’ll change roofs for that money and do a horrible job doing so. I could’ve been an easy job, was willing to pay for the work done. RUN. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. A roof that has issues in 4 years means shady work and even shadier customer service.

All that drip edge was replaced properly and a final inspection by a certified inspector was performed. The roof is quality I assure you of that. Thank you for your business. Just as a reminder, you do have a lifetime warranty on the Workmanship. Feel free to call if There ever is an issue. Unfortunately contractors enter into a project with consumers periodically that just choose To have a problem from the start. The condition of the facia presented a challenge for us installing the drip edge. Nonetheless, we addressed accordingly. Thank you for your feedback. We will definitely use this as training.

Had my roof replaced through an insurance claim about a year ago. Very good customer service and follow up until the job was complete. No complaints there. My only complaint is that they offered free power washing after the job was complete but never followed up with that. I called twice over the next couple months and both times was told they’d check on it and call me back but I never received a return call. Called a third time several months later and again, never got any follow up. It’s a shame because the work they did on my roof was excellent. Not sure if things were just lost in communication but felt like once they had my money and completed the job, the customer service wasn’t a priority anymore. EDIT: Interesting response from a business owner. There was no follow up from your company in those 11 months since my roof was replaced after I had called several times. No one I talked to ever said that the pressure washing wasn’t offered anymore. When I had my roof replaced, it was a service you offered but never performed so that’s on you. This is a perfect example of what I meant when I said they don’t value you as a customer after they get your money. 1 star customer service.

Thank you for the review. We don’t install shingles flush on any part of a roof especially on the eves.facia will show signs of rot when the home has wood facia instead of Hardie and no gutters. Rotten facia isn’t our responsibility. We are more than happy to assist in repairs at a fair rate.

I hired Fitz Roofing in 2019 to diagnose and repair a leak. Fitz Roofing Rep repaired the exterior leak source and inside ceiling repair. Warranty was one year. Within one year it leaked again. I contacted Fitz Roofing Rep..He was not responsive at all. I then contacted Fitz Roofing directly . They assigned another rep who did inspection again and diagnosed that roof vent needs to be repaired to stop the leak. They initially gave 2 yrs warrany but the owner turned it down. He then recommended that my roof needs to be replaced. By this time I had it enough with Fitz Roofing. I called one of the competitor and was told that my rood is good for another 3 yrs and did good diagnostic of the leak. I will never hire Fitz Roofing and never recommend them for roofing job.

Fitz replaced our roof recently and the entire process was smooth and professional. We received personal attention from the owner, Korey, and communication was great throughout. The roof was completed in one day, and it looks great. Fitz also worked directly with our insurer without a hitch. No complaints - we highly recommend Fitz!

Very happy with the service and communication this company provided when I needed my roof replaced. We didn’t think we would need our roof replaced this year but when hurricane Beryl revealed how aged our roof was, Fitz Roofing made a stressful experience almost painless. If they ever branch into other areas of home improvement, I’ll be the first one on the phone to book them.

This is an almost 1-year belated review but also to give a follow up after all the weather events we’ve had in 2024 that have really tested our roofing (e.g. Derecho, Hurricane Beryl). Let me tell you, if your roof has damage or is in time for repair, these are the people you need to book. Not one shingle lost from either of these huge wind events and our roof still looks amazing. Fitz Roofing is incredibly good quality work and amazing service. When they completed the service for us, they were very professional providing us real time updates on when to expect everything from supplies to when the roofing would start. Everything was quick and efficient with ample communication. Post service, they were also amazing providing multiple drone shot images of the roof to ensure we were happy with the product. Additionally, we had a bit of an electrical issue after the installation and they had an electrician come and help troubleshoot it within a couple hours. Please be sure to book Fitz Roofing, your home safety can be trusted in their hands.
