Fairclaims provided me the worst roofing experience imaginable. The install was 5 months ago, and to this day, every time I look at the roof I feel sad about it. This is a house I'm building with my Dad and it's beautiful, and we care about the details, hiring Fairclaims for a project where details matter was a massive mistake. The day the new roof was supposed to be installed the metal flashing wasn't even MADE yet. It was being made that morning setting everyone behind. Flashing is supposed to be made and on site before installers show up. The metal flashing was made and installed without any communication to me. In other words they didn't verify if the reveal and size was something I liked. The flashing was then installed wavy on the front of the house, looks terrible. They installed unpainted metal on a custom black roof, looks terrible. Also used the wrong nailing method for that metal so these nails will just rust out eventually. The step flashing they used was from other job sites and was different colors... The foreman on the jobsite was the only English speaker making it impossible to communicate with the install crew, and that foreman ended up disappearing from the jobsite half way through the day, and the installers were left clueless. The Valley detail (A detail every roofer should know) on our bridge took them a day to figure out, resulting in tearing up the new shingles to re-do everything. They used blue underlayment which to this day shows through the shingles, that's right. You can see blue fabric from the street on the roof. We bought custom roof boots for our vent pipes and the roofers installed them in the wrong areas (After we had told them where they go). And the roof is just wavy, embarrassingly wavy. I felt scammed and uncared for every step of the way. I've attached a few pictures of the job. You can get the idea.

My experience with FairClaims / FCR Services LLC has been extremely disappointing. I hired FairClaims for a roof replacement in November 2024 and paid in full based on their intentional misrepresentations, including upgraded GAF products, ventilation improvements, warranty coverage, and a Maintenance and Service Agreement. More than a year and a half later, the project remains incomplete, and contracted work is still outstanding. I selected FairClaims in part because they are represented as a GAF Master Elite contractor. Most people do not watch their roof installation, so they only see the finished product without any idea if it was installed properly. Unfortunately, the issues remain unresolved. The Intakepro ventilation system appears to have significant installation concerns. The Cobra 3" Z Ridge Vents are partially blocked, and the vent openings appear inconsistent in size. FairClaims has refused to correct these issues. There are also concerns regarding the installation conditions. The crew installed shingles while they were wet and while the roof underlayment was wet during light rain. I objected to installing materials under those conditions, but my concerns were dismissed. I also paid additional amounts for upgraded warranty protection and service agreements. They failed to honor the warranty and complete numerous outstanding work. My position remains straightforward: FairClaims should demonstrate that the work shown in the photographs complies with GAF installation requirements and the contracted standards, The photographs provide a clear record of the condition of the work that remains unresolved due ti inproer installation. FairClaims has not corrected the documented issues or completed the work it was paid to perform. Instead, they proposed an unreasonable credit arrangement that would not even cover paying another contractor to finish and correct work already paid in full in 2025. After exhausting good-faith efforts to resolve this directly wi

Very disappointed and frustrated regarding new roof install and customer service from Fair Claims Roofing/owner Justin. This roofing company was recommended by Built Green Custom Homes. Problem with new roof installed summer 2025 and still not resolved as of Christmas 2025 after 3 months since claim filed in Sept 2025.

    Reply from the business

We understand you are frustrated with the underlayment bubbling up as are we. We have actively filed the claim with the manufacturer as this is a product issue rather than an installation issue. We are working to do what we can but are still reliant on the manufacturers timeline to settle the claim so it can be repaired. Unfortunately this process can take some time but confident it will be rectified.

If I could give this roofing company 0 stars I would. This owner only cares to take your money and doesn’t care to warranty his work. I had the best standing seam roof installed to prevent having issues like I am dealing with. This roof has …

Fairclaims Roofing & Construction is an incompetent company!!! DO NOT use them, you've been warned. We replaced our roof in 4/2024 to have peace of mind and not worry about any leaks. Guess what? A couple of days after the roof was replaced, there was a leak in the roof that damaged our dry wall in one of our room. The sales representative, Ben, told us afterwards that this was a small mistake. What a dumb and insensitive thing to say to unhappy customers who are extremely stressed out having to deal with the mess due to this company's incompetence. After the roof was replaced, we got a letter from our home owner's association telling us that the roof color was NOT an approved color and that Fairclaims never submitted an application to the HOA to change the roof and threatening to fine us. This was after Ben, our sales representative, text us before the roof was replaced that he got approval from HOA and telling us our roof color is an approved HOA color. We emailed FairClaims later on to see if they can help sort this out with our home owner's association but they were useless. Overall, we wished we had never used FairClaims and went with another company. They were incompetent, insensitive and created a lot of headache and stress that we shouldn't have to deal with given we got a new roof!

I don’t know how they are Fair in responding to customer request and estimates. After 4+ weeks of multiple calls and voicemails they decided to send a partial estimate for the repair and refused to provide the full estimate based on what the inspector diagnosed as the problem. To be specific, while on site the inspector noted rotten flashing, decking, counter flashing and metal window roof to be replaced. Not a good experience to deal with and the inspector (sub contractor) who came on site was totally unreliable and unreachable. The office also refused to reassign the estimation process to another inspector as well.

We obviously want every client to have a positive experience, but this review is challenging to understand. We never refuse to provide an estimate for work we do. There’s also no way to know if this an actual client without a name listed and very vague concerns.

When you have an active roof leak, often the cause is obvious but not always the case. Unfortunately, it can be trial an error based on an educated guess for why water is continuing to come into the home especially when it only leaks during torrential rainfall. As a business, all we can do is continue to work with our clients to get to the bottom of an issue and take care of the needed repairs. We have already offered to either refund this client for the 2 repairs we were paid to do, or complete the additional repair needed at no charge in addition to repairing the interior damages with our team that have occurred since our last repair. We have also never been hostile with any client but did express that our warranty for the repair would only cover for our team to complete the new needed repair to fix the leak rather than a competitor. We are sorry this has been a challenge for the client. We believe in standing behind our work and offered what we could to rectify the situation, but were disallowed from doing so.

I had an outstanding experience with FairClaims Roofing & Construction. They did exactly what they promised from start to finish. Justin’s communication, professionalism, and coordination made the entire process seamless and stress-free. One of the things that really set FairClaims apart was their GAF Master Elite certification, the availability of extended manufacturer-backed warranty options, and their fair and competitive pricing. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel pressured. The roofing crew was hardworking, professional, and respectful of my property. They completed the work as promised, cleaned up thoroughly, and the finished product looks absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a roofing company that delivers on its promises with quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend FairClaims Roofing & Construction. Great company, great workers, and a great owner. Thank you, Justin and the entire FairClaims team, for a job well done!

FairClaims Roofing and Justin O'Neal and his crew were wonderful to work with. Justin walked me through the process and answered all my questions.
