  A terrible company

  This review is unfortunately a retaliatory attempt after we sought legal action against the homeowner for unlawfully depositing the final insurance payment checks, which were issued jointly to her and our company. The work was completed to her satisfaction, and she never reported any issues. The insurance company approved our invoice and released the final payment (over $9,000), listing both our company and the homeowner as payees on the checks. We mailed the checks with instructions and a prepaid envelope for her endorsement. Instead, she deposited them without our signature. We made multiple attempts to resolve this directly through calls, texts, emails, and certified mail but received no response. We were left with no option other than to retain legal counsel to recover the funds. To clarify, there was only one insurance claim ever opened for this property: the original hail damage claim. Any statement that multiple claims were filed after the work was completed is simply false. This entire situation could have been avoided had the homeowner followed the proper process. We wish this circumstance made any sense since we value our homeowners and do everything we can to do great work for them and are always improving our processes so we can keep giving back to our communities. Stuff like this hurts to deal with on multiple levels when we know we work hard to set benchmarks for what contracting should be in our industry.

  First, I never write complaints but I feel the public should be warned. Please beware of this company. Casey, the owner, gave me a bid on my roof which was very inflated. He was very shady in the process. The contract I signed was for a lesser amount of what he wanted to do the job for (who signs contracts for bids? - my dumbass did). I told him he could do the job for the amount I signed the contract for but he stormed out of my house in front of my partner and I because he wanted to inflate the price and wanted me to sign a new contract -- Yikes. No work was done at my house at all by him or his company. He never indicated there was a bid fee. Matter of fact, his other company went out of business halfway through and he begged me to sign another contract. I did. No money was ever exchanged. No services were ever rendered. After Casey stormed out of my kitchen, I figured the deal was over. Wrong! I get a debt collection letter demanding $3,622.33. Casey came by a few times and poked around on the roof, definitely not worth $3,622.33. I've never had a contractor charge me for bidding. It's surely no way to get referral work. I deal with contractors all the time in my real estate dealings and no one has ever treated me like this and expected money for no work. Bids occur often and you don't get the work. That is the cost of doing business. I understand I signed a contract and am/was willing to hold up my end but it lists a lower amount and Featherfall Restoration isn't willing to do it at that price. Save your time, move on with a contractor that is fair, honest, no contracts, no crap. Huge mistake on my part for taking Featherfall's cold call. Bad idea. Learn from my mistake.

I was a sales rep at the time and when it was announced that the company was no longer solvent I successfully pushed management to release funds back to all my property owners for the work that was unfinished After my job vanished, many of those homeowners, Sara included, allowed me the opportunity to assist them by continuing with the company that I started, Featherfall Restoration. I am forever grateful for all of the people that stuck with me and allowed us to launch on a solid foundation When I met with Sara regarding her void contract, from the previous company, we also discussed the estimate that her insurance carrier had originally provided to her for the work to be done on her home and how it fell short in many spots compared to the average cost in the area for insurance restoration work. Some of those issues were: - Not estimating the installation of valley lining on the roof, which is a code required item for the area - Not estimating for any disposal costs for a dumpster to remove debris - Not accounting for the proper amount of ceiling area that needed repainting to maintain a consistent line of site, which ensures that you don't have ugly mismatching - Not estimating to protect the personal property and flooring during the interior painting - Not allowing for the general contractor's overhead and profit that would be incurred for scheduling, coordinating, supervising, and invoicing the multiple trades required to restore the home properly Missing or underestimated items on an insurance scope are a common event, so during our discussion of the missing items, Sara was notified that the additional costs would nee

  Excellent service. I had same day response for a roof repair with a leak. Featherfall contacted me immediately per my query and were at my home the same day for an estimate with a photo and video inspection to show the repairs needed. The work was performed the next day and done very well. I highly recommend using them and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them in the future.

  Casey and Kayla came to investigate a roof leak for us. They did a fantastic job determining the root cause, taking photos and videos, and ruling out more serious (and expensive) problems. You'd be surprised how many contractors do not bother to get on the roof to see what's actually happening up there, so we especially appreciated this. Thank you!

  I can’t say enough good things about Casey and Kayla and their team! They took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure I understood all my options before starting.
