  Well I called Erie to get a quote, customer service was pretty pushy on having 2 people here for a quote. The guys arrived at my home at 12:50p.m. and I told them I had a delivery coming between 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. So after a hour of looking at my roof, they finally decided to come in and show me their products, which lasted until 3:49 p.m. when I kicked them out because I was waiting on my my delivery which was 10 minutes away. They asked me how I could afford my house and told me I needed a roof (why did they think I called them? I know I need a roof...) After they packed up, they stood in my driveway to call their home office knowing I had a delivery truck about to get there. They were still at my house when my delivery arrived and I had to ask the delivery team to move to let them out. I wouldn't let them put a new roof on my dog house much less my house. There's no excuse, they were at my house for over 3 hours and I had to force them to leave.

  I am very happy with my new roof installed by Erie Home. They had shingles that were very close in color to my original shingles. The two young men that came to inspect my roof were very knowledgeable about the roofing materials that they installed. When my home was built I just let the builder install the brand that they usually use. My original roof lasted me 25 years. I know that my new roof will not have to be replaced during my lifetime. The installers were very nice and answered every question I had. They cleaned up around my home each day. The old materials were taken off. Thank you Erie Homes for my beautiful new roof! Great job!!!!

  Two representatives from Erie Home recently came to our home to give a quote for a new roof. We asked for a quote on a Class III asphalt roof. They were at our home for two hours to inspect our roof and explain their roofs to us. We never received an exact quote but were told it would be more than $50,000! Seriously? Not long ago, we bought a high quality Class III roof on a different home that was the same size as the one we live in now and it was $16,000. The Erie salesmen told us to look on the Homewyse site to find out the current price of a Class III roof. The Homewyse site indicated we should not pay more than $27,000 for a Class III roof, and that number would be on the high end pricing. We have no doubt their roofs are high quality, but nobody wants to get suckered like that! Besides, we are senior citizens living on Social Security, and they knew that. There's no way we will ever get into a deal with this company.

  Erie home came out a few days ago. The man was very very nice. But their prices are astronomical! We have had a few quotes already. One today from a five star roofing company. The quote was $14,000 less than what Erie quoted us. Same product. Same warranty. Actually for an additional $200 (with that included it’s still $14,000 less) gave me an additional 15 year warranty on workmanship. Erie also told us that there was all this water damage. Yea they showed us pictures. But I don’t know what I’m looking for. He could have showed me a nail and said it was a screw. And I’d be like ok you’re the professional. But the other three companies ensured us of no water damage. All of them went in the attic and on the roof. Erie is probably a great company for people that want to spend thousands of dollars more for the same product,same workmanship,same warranty (actually better thought the other company)But for us it’s a no brainer. Before you go with Erie home. Do your due diligence and shop or quote around! You can thank me later! 😁

  Scheduled an appointment, received multiple calls and emails to confirm the appointment, and they did not show. My husband and I left work early to make the appointment as they insisted we both be there, so we lost time and money for them not to even show up. Edit to Add: we rescheduled with them after the first no show, and this morning we get a cancellation text! I have never seen a company lacking so much. Two missed appointments!

  Our roof system is already resulting in slightly cooler temps in the attic. We had a concern about our back porch section of the new roofing and Erie came out the next day to address our concern and had the solution.

  They were great people to work with. The reps that came out were very nice and very detailed with everything they used and the process of getting it done. The installers worked very hard and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. They walked you around area to make sure you were satisfied with their work before they left. Did very good work!!!! The roof looked great!

  I had a great experience with Erie Home in Columbia for my roof replacement. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The quality of the work really stands out, and the whole process was much smoother than I expected. Josh and Ryan were excellent to work with, they were knowledgeable, communicative, and made sure everything was done right. They took the time to answer my questions and kept me updated throughout the project, which I really appreciated.   We recently had our roof replaced by Erie Home and had a very positive experience overall. Their team took the time to thoroughly explain their product and walk us through the quality differences compared to conventional roofing materials. That level of detail really helped us feel confident in the decision. The warranty they offer also provides great peace of mind. From signing to installation, the turnaround was quick — within a week our roof was already being worked on. The project itself was completed in just one day (our home is under 2,000 sq ft), which was impressive. Pricing felt fairly reasonable considering material costs and inflation since COVID, though it can definitely be a tough expense if it’s not something you’ve been planning for. Overall, we’re satisfied with the professionalism, efficiency, and quality of work.
