  A Very Disappointing Experience I strongly discourage anyone from hiring Emerson Roofing based on my experience. My insurance claim was filed in March, and now it is August, yet the promised work still has not been completed. I have exhausted every possible way of trying to reach them and get answers. Grant Havner was extremely disrespectful, did not return my calls, and repeatedly ignored my attempts to communicate. The secretary was also very rude and actually hung up on me before my concerns were resolved. What makes this even more frustrating is that they brought materials to my property, damaged my property, and then took materials that I had already paid for without my permission. I was promised that the job would be completed, but months later, nothing has been delivered. This has been exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. Think twice before hiring this company. I would not recommend Emerson Roofing to anyone and strongly suggest doing your research before trusting them with your home or your money.

  Let's tell the ENTIRE story. Emerson delivered materials to the property, within 1-2 days a tree fell on the roof causing structural damage. We then had the materials that were roof loaded picked up to allow you to get the structural repairs completed. AFTER we completed an emergency dry in on 6/11/26 FOR FREE so you're interior would not be damaged. We have been cursed at, threatened and everything in between and now that you have completed those repairs (it's 8/21) you demand that we get the roof done immediately. I'd love to do the work but I refuse to put my office staff or our crews through another one of your rants. The ONLY disrespect in this situation has been from you and your "partners" who hold no authority in this situation. Your deposit will be returned today and we will send you an invoice for the dry in materials and time. Good luck in the future but I recommend leaning toward kindness rather than lies and disrespect to get your way.

  Emerson is unwilling to warranty their roof. Weve had a leak for a year and a half now. An inspection simply cannot locate the leak. Well, it is leaking. And Emerson needs to fix.

  Dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare. The salesman promised everything and delivered on none of it after receiving the deposit money. There was no communication and all work was subcontracted which created huge problems. They did a terrible job on our roof and then refused to fix it and instead blamed the gutter company, even though the gutters had just been replaced and the roof didn't look bad prior to their work. The woman who handles claims, Amanda, has zero customer service skills and clearly does not care about her job or if you have concerns. I rarely write reviews but I feel it would be a disservice to not let others know so they don't have to go through the headaches this company caused us. Would not recommend.

  They want you to sign a contact and if you decide to go elsewhere they "think" they can charge you $500 lol. Also when you have an estimate done for all the work you would expect them to do all the work but they try to do only the roof. Be ware.

  Workers asked to borrow our ladder and when job was done, stole the ladder. Tried for a week to contact the Rep with only voice mail. Then contacted Office in Lenexa KS and was told the Rep no longer worked for the Company. Informed them about the theft of the ladder and was informed that their employees do not steal. Call me back and said the Workers had left the ladder, I advised they had taken the ladder and was going to file a Police Report. Was called back next day and was told the Company was sending me a $250.00 coupon for Home Depot. Tells me they know the Workers are thieves.

  The rest of the story goes like this. The homeowner brought a ladder out for the crew to use. The homeowner called about the ladder being "stolen". We explained that it was probably a misunderstanding and we would call the crew. After the homeowner started making racial comments about the "mexicans", "not speaking english", and calling ICE and police, we made the decision to send a gift card to appease them so they could replace the ladder. After this was sent, the crew informed us, with photos, that the ladder was around the back of the house leaning against the house. It wasn't stolen. It was on their property the whole time, but instead of looking inward, these customer have chosen to place blame and make accusations that are false. Wish there was a way to leave reviews on customers. No one should be treated differently just because they are from another country. That doesn't make them less than or worthy of accusations that are not true.

  Nothing but problems since our full roof replacement.Gutters and gutter guard were not re-hung even after Emerson’s “gutter guy” marked this as completed. After complaining about this someone came out and did re-hang them incorrectly causing numerous issues. Emerson didn’t want to help solve this issue. Contractor recently let us know that neither of our upper floor bathroom fans were vented back to the roof and have been venting straight into the attic and attic insulation since the new roof was installed in 2023. Be VERY cautious when hiring this company that things are completed correctly. Once they’ve got payment you are on your own.

  Emerson Roofing did our roof replacement after our city was hit with a hail storm. We worked with Ray and Keith on coordinating what was to be done and our roof was redone within a day. We are extremely happy with the process and finished product.

  Emerson Enterprises was recommended by my agent but you always have some skepticism when dealing with roofing projects. I met with Jon he was professional and attentive to my needs,his crews was a little behind because of all the weather related events in my area but when they showed up they got busy clean up was great they even added some extra box vents to bring my system up to code and improve my attic ventilation ,I highly recommend Jon and the guys at Emerson Enterprises thank you

  Emerson’s people from first inspection through installation were courteous , professional, competent … really excellent in every way. I appreciated the assistance from inspection through insurance filing through roof install. The money worked much better than I thought it would too!   Emerson has replaced roofs on two of our homes over the years. They do excellent work and are very organized! They're trustworthy, transparent, timely, have great communication, they keep their word. Without a doubt, I'd use them again.

  Roof looks fantastic. We worked with Nathan over at Emerson and it was a great experience. He worked with the insurance inspector and communicated with us the whole process. They did what they said they would, on time and on budget. Would definitely recommend.
