Completely unprofessional, tried to overcharge me after the job was already completed and the rate had been previously agreed upon. Will be telling everyone I know that they are horrible and not to use them

Very good work at a fair price. I had significant wood rot that they replaced and corrected to eliminate any future problems. On time completion and very transparent on the work being done.

I am a Contractor. John and his company are the real deal! They are always available to speak to, very punctual and have the experience to handle any roofing related situation without skimping. And their customer servise and rates are a step above the other roofers I've used in the past.

We received a letter from our home owners insurance company that our 2 year old roof was sagging and needed to be repaired or they would cancel our policy. John from East County Roofing came out and inspected the roof. Said "Everything is done properly and there is 20-30 years left on the life of the roof." He wrote us a letter. We mailed to our insurance company. And they re-instated our policy. Thank You John! This is a great trustworthy company. I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience with East County Roofing of San Diego. From start to finish, the entire process was professional, efficient, and exceeded all expectations. John Westcott, the owner, runs a tight ship and was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and communicative throughout. He made sure everything went smoothly and took the time to explain every step of the process clearly. A special shoutout goes to Rick and Devin—these two were absolutely outstanding. They showed up on time, worked tirelessly, and treated my home with respect. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship were top-notch. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in the final result. My new roof looks fantastic, and I have full confidence in its durability thanks to the high-quality materials and expert installation. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and customer-focused roofing company, look no further than East County Roofing. Highly recommended!

This company was amazing. They were on time, professional, and friendly! There were two employees as well as the owner, who had an impeccable work ethic. The project was completed on time, it looks great, and I am a super satisfied customer! I would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. They hauled away the old material and were thorough about cleaning up.

John has done our roof and my mother in laws roof. Mine is a combo peaked and flat roof presenting a challenge at the transition. It has never leaked. My mother in laws insurance company was telling her she needed to replace her roof after 15 years. Two roofers checked it and said it was good for another 5 years. John communicated with the insurance company and they approved the policy. John is an old school, honest, reliable businessman doing an excellent job in the community.

Wind Storm in Pine Valley area caused a tree limb to come down and impact my shed roof, causing some damage. I have always used East County Roofing since I moved here in 2003 and found them responsive, professional and fair priced. They took care of my issue quickly.

Had a vent leak on the roof. Called John when it was pouring down rain and he said he would come out but had to wait until the rain stopped or slowed down. First thing the next morning they were here, checked the vent. Corrected the caulking and checked all vents and redid them all. Great customer service. I will definitely use East County Roofing for any roofing issues.
