  Horrendous experience and would not recommend. They completely ignored us on following up on siding and gutter damage from the storm. The material delivery was missing an attic vent fan. I notified them the night before and was told that I was just overlooking it, but just in case, they would be an extra one in the morning. I came home after work to notice that they only replaced the 1 fan, not both. After finally getting ahold of someone, they came back out that evening to replace the second fan, after the new roof was already installed. I also found an abundance of damage around the house from their carelessness. Broken vinyl privacy fence panel, damage to our 2 brand new heat pumps, and over 40 nails left laying on our concrete driveway, in plain eyesight. Looking back at the door cameras, there was ZERO attempt at locating nails/screws. After weeks of no response from the salesperson regarding the follow-up for the gutters/siding, we were greeted with a text that evening asking how we wanted to pay for the roof that was just installed. We went into the office to express our displeasure and was assured by the "owner" that the damages would be taken care of and that they would follow-up on the siding and gutter estimates. After several months of nothing happening again, and many calls with said owner who seemed to never remember anything about our situation, I finally gave up on this company. I sent them the quote from the HVAC company for repairs for the damage they caused, and a quote for the replacement fence panel, just to be ghosted yet again. I would avoid this company at all costs. It seems their great reviews pre-date the current administration.

  Process started just fine. New roof was installed, slightly late due to weather, but that is not their fault. Small section of roof is rubber and was not included in the quote. First rain after install, roof was leaking on both sides of the rubber portion. It has now been weeks and has rained multiple times. I've spoken with them several time and keep getting the runaround. They have told me they would get back to me several times about patching it and/or giving a new quote for the rubber roof section of the house. I have basically been lied to multiple times about what they would do and when they would update me. Very displeased.

  Design Roofing sent a sales rep to inspect my roof and provide me with a quote, which I accepted. Over the next few weeks, I had a brick mason perform some critical work on my chimney which damaged several slate tiles. I told them not to worry, as the roof was about to be replaced. One month later, they delivered the shingles and other materials. Three days later, the crew arrived and said the roof was too steep. They left and the shingles were sent back to the warehouse. At no point during the lengthy inspection by the sales rep was any mention made about the steepness of the roof. None of the other contractors I contacted had any issue with the roof. Now I am stuck with a damaged roof with virtually NO TIME to find another contractor so late in the year. I am faced with potentially serious water damage due to Design's unprofessionalism and incompetence. BE WARNED! If Design will breach a written contract without warning, I seriously doubt they will honor any warranty they provide.

  Poor customer experience is why I’m giving 1 star. Tried to work with this company for a roof replacement. Company did nothing but waste our time. 3-4 weeks of hounding them to call us back by leaving voicemails with no return calls. Brent called and apologized for the poor service after all that time, made an appointment with us, then didn’t even show up for the appointment. Wow. Impossibly to reach over the phone, excuses of why they were not able to return our calls, and to end it a missed appointment. Total lack of everything I would look for in a contractor which is good communication and dependability. Would not recommend to friends and family.

  My wife and I were in need of a metal roof repair. We looked around at several different roofing companies to get some estimates. Design was the first one that we set up an appointment with. Lambros, Designs sales manager, showed up to give the estimate and discuss other options. I was at work at the time but he was extremely professional at explaining things to my wife. He looked at the roof and went upstairs into the attic to assess our situation. He was very patient, not only with any questions my wife had, but also in allowing her the time to call me so that the 3 of us could discuss the options available to us. He never tried to sell us a particular product but instead let us know the pros and cons of whichever decision we would make and ultimately we decided on an entire new shingle roof. He kept in contact throughout the entire process of coming up with our estimate to ensure that we were happy with the product and color we chose. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help his customers should very much be recognized. Design made a great choice by adding him to their team of professionals. On the day of the roof installation the crew arrived at first light and got to work promptly. I work evening shift and wasn't able to move some plants and other items in our flower beds out of the way but they made sure they were placed away from the house and were undamaged during the roof installation. I walked outside a few times just to watch and everyone on the crew was very friendly and waved. They worked fast but extremely efficiently and I could tell they were experts at their craft. The job site was kept free of any trash or debris. They made sure no nails or screws were left behind in the grass or the driveway. And to my surprise, although they didn't have to, they moved every item from the flower beds back to their spots. Top notch work by all the guys that showed up today!   I had Design Roofing replace my roof, and I am happy with the results. The work is of good quality, and the roof looks great. The crew showed up on time, worked hard and quickly, and cleaned up everything before they left the same day. They also cleaned the gutters. Design Roofing was recommended to me by Ed and Brenda Baumgartner of Wilson Dr. in Huntington, WV, and I will also be happy to recommend them. Janet Mattson

  Design Roofing without a doubt is the most professional company I have ever dealt with. The showroom was very well organized with several options available. The process of replacing my roof was explained to me step-by-step. From start to finish I was 100% satisfied. The pricing was very reasonable and every employee who I had personal contact with was very professional, courteous, and helpful. I am 100% satisfied with my new roof and recommend Design Roofing.
