An extra star only because of their friendliness...their slogan, 'once a customer...always a friend,' but after my experience with David's Custom Roofing and Painting, the saying, 'with friends like these, who needs enemies,' comes to mind. Took quite a bit to get them to give us a quote on a leaking roof, causing damage to garage ceiling, attic and light fixture and everything that water came in contact with. They came over and assessed where the leak was coming from, and said the solar panel mounting screws and flashing was the issue, not even doing a water test to see exactly where the water leak was coming from. Okay...set up an appointment with their recommended solar company to remove panels above the garage, in order to do the roof repair...which was another headache to schedule, fine...it took a few days to complete the entire repair process, they said they changed all the flashings of the solar panel mounts, which they said was not easy...solar panels reinstalled...but NO WATER TEST. Davelyn suggested that they redo the whole garage/attic roof, just to make sure, because she didn't like the repair work that was done. Wait, what??...we weren't planning to replace the entire garage roof, since our 10 years old PV system upgrade we were thinking about would cause an issue, time wise and money wise, meaning that the whole solar rack/mountings would need to be changed and new screw holes and flashings later, which could lead to more possible future leaks, even with a whole new roof that was suggested. But why suggest changing the whole roof right after we paid nearly $4000 to fix one leak in the first place? So we passed on the additional expense. Thinking the repair should suffice until we have the time and money for the solar upgrade. Not even a month later, however, heavy rain..AND...THE SAME problem leak in the same area, adding more damage than previously. Also a problem: David's Custom Roofing DOES NOT warranty leak repairs...what??! They state, 'Leaks are

David’s Roofing and Painting, recently completed a wonderful job painting my house. From the meticulous prep work, scrapping sanding and caulking the exterior, to the priming and painting of the surface. They went above and beyond doing some carpentry work and ensuring our exterior lights were protected. They ensure thorough clean up around the property after completion.

David's roofing was able to find and stop a leak occurring in our ceiling. They also did a great job cleaning our gutters and repairing some of our shingles. The job came with an online photo report that showed and explained what went on on my roof. We will definitely call them back for roofing work in the future!

We did not go with David's so rating is based on communications and quote -NOT on work done. Felt that proposal detailed more about what they won't do that what they would have. What they called out as exceptions seemed ok but it was offset by vauge statements as to what would be done. I think if they detailed in much more specifics what would be done, we'd have gone with them.

Forman Russell really care about the workmanship that’s being done by his workers. He noticed a plywood sheathing needed to be replaced and informed me. I told him to replace it. He make sure everything is clean before leaving the job. I am in the construction industry and this job was done very professionally. I am really happy I used David’s Roofing.

David’s custom roofing was truly heaven sent!!! Our roof above our guest room started leaking so bad to the point where we desperately needed professional help. After calling multiple other roofing companies and comparing the estimates, we decided to go with David’s. We definitely made the right choice! Their customer service is phenomenal, thank you to Raymond, Max, and Davelyn for making our house a home!!!

David's Roofing was honest, nice, and respectful! Very pleasant experience. From the estimator (Reid) to the installers (Brock), everyone was very professional. I wish I got everyone’s name. There were “no” issues. They even make sure there sanitized before they leave. Cleanup was quite good, which was important to us. I recommend David’s Roofing with no hesitation.
