  i can’t say enough good things about shawn. he is one of the most honest people i have met in the roofing business. if your roof only needs a small repair or patch, that is exactly what he will recommend instead of pushing for a full roof replacement. he has worked on two homes for me, and each time he went above and beyond to make sure the roofing work was done the right way. he keeps you updated through every step of the project, explains the repair process clearly, and gets the job done on time. he is very hands-on and personally oversees the roof work to make sure the quality is there from start to finish. on one job, he even searched hard to find a discontinued shingle match for a repair so the patched area would blend in with the rest of the roof. that level of effort really stood out. i have dealt with many contractors over the years, and it is rare to find a roofer with this kind of honesty, communication, and attention to detail. if more roofing contractors worked this way, homeowners would have a much better experience.

  I found a small ceiling stain and first thought it came from an AC drain issue. After the AC technician checked the drains and did not find a problem, he recommended having a roofer inspect a nearby roof vent and the surrounding roofing area. I contacted Cyms General Contractor - Stafford along with two other roofing companies, and the pricing was by far the best for the scope of work. Jace came out promptly, inspected the vent, and replaced it. He also repaired a few damaged eaves and checked the nearby roofline to make sure everything was sealed well against heavy rain, heat, and normal wear. While working on my home, another contractor accidentally damaged part of an awning during pressure washing, and Jace fixed that section too for a very reasonable added cost, basically just materials and a small labor charge. A couple of weeks later, I noticed a new issue on one of the repaired eaves. After I called, the area was taken care of quickly at no charge. Jace also added metal flashing to help protect that spot and prevent future roofing or water problems. I was very happy with the price, the workmanship, and the overall service, and I have already recommended them to neighbors needing roof vent, flashing, and eave repairs.
