The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Competition Roofing and Renovations. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.
What reviewers keep mentioning
Topics Google extracted from this business’s reviews, with how many mention each. These are words that appeared in reviews, which is not the same as a service the business sells.

I called this company for a quote and they showed up the same day to measure and had a completed quote to me the following day. Decided to do my roof myself otherwise I would be calling them!

Highly recommended! Competition Roofing just finished replacing my shingles. From the quote all the way through finishing the job, William and his team were very professional, friendly, courteous, hard working, and overall great to work with. They took great care of my house and cleaned up nicely, even putting the Christmas lights back up! Thanks again!

Just had my roof done by Neil Black and his crew. Very professional, thoughtful, timely and clean. I am so impressed as I have seen many various roofing companies do homes in downtown Brockville and Competition Roofing is the shining star …

I had an emergency repair needed on my roof and although they were closed for the season they made a trip out to help me anyway. I have used them in the past and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a roof repaired or replaced. Thanks Will and Neil!

This is the third time we have used Competition Roofing over the years and as always a great job was done by Neil's staff. Very professional and the clean-up was excellent.

Taken from the business’s own website. We have not checked any of it. These are quotes, not credentials — a roofer writing “licensed and insured” on their homepage is not evidence that they are.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 10 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 10, of which 9 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Competition Roofing and Renovations. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
