  I called and made an appointment for somebody from Clear Roofing to come to my home and discuss a new roof for our home. I was told that my appointment was at noon. After an hour and five minutes, nobody had arrived at my home. When I called in to their office I was given a bunch of lame excuses to which I asked to have somebody call and explain why I had been sitting around and waiting. About 10 minutes later, a young man called to tell me that "their policy" is a two hour window for their appointments. First of all, nobody said anything about this when I scheduled the appointment. And secondly, who are these people? Why is there time so valuable, but the persons who ultimately pay for their lifestyles have no importance at all. The way a business conducts their business determines if I want to have anything at all to do with them. If you don't care if "their policy" is to make you sit around waiting for them like they hold the cure for cancer, then go ahead and deal with these people. There are many other roofers with excellent credentials and reviews (which you can easily look up) who will treat potential customers with more respect and dignity. I don't want to have anything to do with Clear Roofing and Siding, or "their policy" of showing up at your home when it's convenient for them, without so much as a phone call to explain the delay.

  Ben, I appreciate your response, everyone’s time is valuable. 2 hour windows is my company policy and will remain to ensure all our customers are treated fairly and professionally. This is no different than what any other professional home service company does. If you look at the attached message in your text it states a 2 hour window and you responded to this message with “Great”. See below (((“HCP Assist scheduled Job #164 for Tue 12/26/23 at 12:00PM…. Sent to customer on behalf of your company. “Hi Ben, Greg Clear from Clear Roofing and Siding is scheduled to arrive Tue, Dec 26 between 12:00pm-2:00pm. 10:07 AM BM Dashboard Ben Melnykovich … Great! 10:08 AM”))) Ben, After serving this country for 21 years in the Marines and retiring, I started this company to maintain small but professional company to fill a void that others was missing. One thing I heard customers complain about was other companies either not showing or constantly late. The other was to fix small repairs on the spot. Many home owners say companies come out see the small repairs and then never show back up. Hence why I implemented a 2 hour window years ago. This gives us time to treat each home owner and situation professionally. If we are running late or see we will be outside of the two hour window it is our policy to call and update the customer with a new window time. Sometimes we are running ahead and again we will call to notify the customers we are running ahead. Today, we were tracking to arrive at your location before the 2 hr windows closed. In 4 years you are the first who ever had a problem with this. Unfortunately, I can only imagine you read the text that states a two hour window, since you responded with “Great!.” If you didn’t read the text, I can’t see how this is my or the companies fault. Again, I’m fine taking a black eye if I or one of my staff members is in the wrong. However in this case we are not. Hope you and your family truly have a safe and happy new years.

  Greg was very good at communicating and coordinating the project that we needed to have done before painting the exterior house. Overall very professional and the work completed was to our satisfaction!

  Greg was amazing. We needed to replace our roof. The process was quick and simple and he worked with us along the way. He even came back out to check our roof when we had flooding in the basement to reassure us that the roof was perfect. Even recommended how to fix the basement leak which saved us thousands! I highly recommend this company!
