  Wrong diagnostic. Wrong solution. Stay away from this company. Now I am receiving threats for a payment they did not collect and waited almost a year to report. Be very careful if you decide to work with them.

The level of correction you are expecting would require a full reroofing, which would have been the appropriate time to achieve that result as discussed.   First time I’ve ever left a review or warning on any platform. Not the kinda of guy to criticize or say anything unless it’s good. But as a business owner I take pride in what I do and expect a company that prides in what they do, to do their job well at least those they employ. This company does a great job in promoting themselves as experts. Maybe their workers were great in the past but not the present and not from my experience, unfortunately. One poor job has turned into a chain of other issues beginning in Oct 2022. From a supposed replaced soffits and fascia boards poorly installed. No sanding or filling, but painted over, poorly and caulked as if were done like finger paint, leaving me with plenty of paint and caulking to remove from my pavers, windows and fence below. Anaiz, I’m sorry but you were not communicative with me after the fact I noticed leaks in my home which we never had before and you blame it on the previous company that replaced my roof. I know this type of work very well, enough to have completed it myself but was unable to do so for other reasons so I hired a “trusted” company. Honesty and good workmanship is very hard to come by these days. People do better at creating an image and making a quick buck without real care to make a customer happy or keep them for that matter.

It's important to note that our work scope did not involve any direct manipulation of the roof itself, as you recently had your roof reroofed. Our focus was solely on the removal of the fascia without any interaction with the drip edge, which is typically mechanically fastened to the roof. Similarly, the installation of the soffit does not entail contact with the roof surface. During Raul's assessment, he observed a potential issue with the underlayment on the drip edge, noting that it appeared to be improperly installed, resulting in it peeling up. This is a matter that, by its nature, would not have been influenced by the repairs we performed. Given this finding, we recommended reaching out to the previous contractor who handled the reroofing for potential warranty coverage, if applicable. It's possible that this issue stems from the initial installation and may fall under their warranty provisions. I understand the frustration this situation may cause, and I want to assure you that we take your concerns seriously. I'm more than willing to discuss this matter further and address any additional questions or concerns you may have.   Warning: Unaddressed Damages Caused by City Roofing I feel compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with City Roofing to warn others about the potential damages and lack of responsibility associated with their services. City Roofing performed a roof soft wash service on my house on November 27th, and the aftermath has been nothing short of a nightmare. The damages inflicted during the procedure were both visible and extensive, including burnt plant ornaments surrounding my house perimeter, severe damage to a fruit plant due to improper covering, and signs of burning on a pine tree in the front. Additionally, the chemical product used stripped the paint luster from the fascia, leaving it dull and colorless. Despite reaching out to Jesus, the person in charge, for an assessment, he failed to show up and ignored subsequent attempts to contact him. The lack of communication and refusal to address the situation is highly disconcerting. City Roofing has shown a complete lack of responsiveness and accountability for the damages caused. Even a simple request for the Business License has been ignored. As a customer, I am deeply disheartened by their disregard for the consequences of their work. The damages incurred and the subsequent lack of resolution are unacceptable. I advise you to look elsewhere for a reliable and responsible service provider. Save yourself the frustration and potential property damage.

The story shared here are not services that City Roofing performs or offers. We are not a soft washing company, but a roofing company that performs roof repairs and replacements. City Roofing employees were never on your property to perform soft washing services therefore we cannot be held responsible for the damages you're claiming. I'm sorry this happened to you with the soft washing company, you must deal directly with the soft washing company. Jesus is not an employee of City Roofing.

  Took over a month for an estimate on a repair to be told, I need City Roofing's repair group estimate. To then two weeks trying to schedule a "repair quote" with Cesar and could never give me a date for estimate. Never got passed Cesar to actually get a quote.

  I had an appointment this morning at 10am with someone from City Roofing for my project at my home and no one showed up. I called the main line several times with no answer. Since I made the appointment I kept receiving automatic text messages from the company confirming the appointment and telling me who was meeting me here, up until the morning of the appointment but no one showed up. Then I contacted a separate number that had called me who was the person that was going to come out to meet me, Cristian Castaño, and he laughed and said "oh you're probably wondering why I am not there?" I could not believe it. I took time off work to come meet this person. Highly unprofessional.

  Unable to keep appointment. People have certain schedule to follow. If they set an appointment, they should comply and to cancel for some reason, sufficient time is needed not a day before I requested Off from my job and saying my appointment was cancelled because the person who schedule is new does not know , ( what she’s doing). So I have to suffer for their incompetent staff? I cancelled my transaction, not a good start to start business.. .. PS. I do not think it's prior to Irma. This request happened after Hurricane Irma Incident. But no thank you ..

  Nina, it is apparent communication was lacking and clearly we didn't pass along your information to the newly hired member of our family. However, just prior to Hurricane Irma we visited your home, prepared and delivered an estimate, went out again after the storm where we communicated to your husband that we could not detect the new damaged leak/area and scheduled yet another visit. The third appointment was scheduled for a Saturday. When we were called by your husband demanding an estimate without learning about the exact location of problem, we called on Friday to cancel the appointment. We are sorry we could not solve your problem in a timely manner. If you ever need to reach out again, you can ask for me directly and we will handle it better than we did the last time. Mario

  I don't usually leave reviews but I just felt the need to share my experience. Nothing against the sales Rep Jose who came over and did his job even though he cancelled on me for the 2nd meeting at the last minute but I understand emergencies occur. So I asked for the quote/estimate to be email until he is able to make it and he said he couldn't "company policy" mmm ok i let it go, shows up for the 2nd meeting and gives a nice presentation on his laptop about the company, the owner, wife and 5 kids( I guess thats why their prices are double from other companies) so after about 30 to 40 mins we come to the page that i was interested... Prices! So we start with the cheapest, medium and best. I thought my heart almost stopped for a second...Talk about getting paid, all I can say is WOW, to make it short I got a quote from another company who offered the same services, material, and work for almost half the price. So i was polite to the guy and honest and told him those prices were too high and im getting quotes from different contractors and i will make a decision by probably first week of december for which he replied " this is only valid for 15 days and if i would have known you were not ready i would have cancelled and rescheduled" Ok so talk about customer service skills. Anyway I told him thank you and if anything i will reach out for which I showed him the door and extended my hand to say goodbye but apparently he didn't see it and left me hanging. I will again give him the benefit of the doubt...So my final thoughts about this, if you want to overpay for a roof then go ahead and reach them but there is definitely better options out there if you keep on looking. It's up to the contractor to constantly train to make sure you get the best possible roof. We get calls on a daily basis from shoddy work to abandoned warranties left by contractors who are no longer in business. We are proud to be in business for over twelve years and have serviced every warranty call and honored every contract. If we have failed to relay that message then shame on us. Whether you do business with us or someone else, we want to leave you more educated so that making your decision will be an informed one. We will continue to stand by our beliefs although it may not be the right fit for everyone.

  Hi miami! This company, by far, the most competent, professional, quick, roofing replacement i have had. As many nowdays deal with the greedy insurance companies. I had a perfectly sound 18 year old roof, never had a leak but the insurance went thru the roof to almost 8000 bucks. Main reason, they wanted a new roof put in. That way, they supposedly, will save money on having to replace it if it's more storm ready. Anyway, found this company, they were willing to do my half, i live in a twin home. A lot of companies tell you, while roof or nothing. The other half of my twin is owned by a tightwad investment company. Called them several times, left messages, no call back. Called a bunch of roofing companies, most said, no, whole roof or nothing. Looked up citi. Roofing. Great reviews, AND THEY DO HALF roofs. The workers, the forman,José, the proposal guy,Kevin, the office contact Anna, EVERYONE, AWESOME! You can NOT,go wrong with this company. From start to finish 3 days, with inspections, EVERYTHING! THEY took care of my property, cleaned up every day! I'd give them 10 stars if i could!

  Update: I cannot begin to express how impressed I am with City Roofing. Over 10 years ago, they installed our new roof, and I remember being incredibly impressed with their customer service and hometown feel at the time. Fast forward to today, when our roof developed a small leak. I expected that they might not honor their warranty after all this time, but to my surprise, they absolutely came through! I wish to thank two people in particular: Raul, our roofing technician, and Anai. Both of them were exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend City Roofing to anyone. I always value a company that stands behind its warranty and doesn't try to weasel its way out of it. Many, many thanks, City Roofing! City Roofing proved to be very professional, timely and did an excellent job. I had less than stellar experiences with contractors in the past, so I was a little leery at first. However Joey our rep was very upfront and did not make any promises that they could not keep. Once we accepted them to redo our roof, they started the communications process. Candy took great care to work and communicate with us in a professional manner at every step of the project. I can say they are committed to excellence
