  Chipman roofing was a sub-contractor for Aspen Exteriors who was hired to complete my roof back in December. Talk about having problem after problem. They did a great job ripping off the old roof but it was downhill from there. First they laid down ice/water shield and started installing the shingles before the inspector had a chance to pass it off. They got about 60% of the shingles installed by the time the inspector came and she made them rip it all off and start over. This happened on a Friday. Since they had to halt work, my roof wasn't complete for the big snow storm on Saturday and Sunday. They started work again on Monday morning but the roof hasn't been ripped off and ice/water shield re-installed so the inspector couldn't approve the work when she stopped in for her follow up inspection. They also didn't know they were roofing the garage as well, so that hadn't been started at ALL. After everything was FINALLY passed off by the inspector and the roof was complete, I noticed they missed installing new drip edge on one whole side of the garage, and they didn't install any kick-out flashing where the roof and stucco met. I tried calling the owner Brayden, which he was absolutely clueless when it came to fixing the problems. He took zero accountability and just tried to make excuses. When I asked him about the drip edge he said his crew probably wasn't done yet. But who in there right mind installs drip edge AFTER the shingles are already on? Ended up having to hire another roofing company to come back and complete the necessary fixes. I would never use this company if your looking for a problem free experience. p.s. there clean up was terrible, I ended up finding about 400-500 nails around the house, in my lawn, etc. Most roofing companies run a magnet through to get the majority of the nails.

  After obtaining several bids from other roofing companies, I chose Chipman because there was no marketing hype or pressure to sign up, and the owner Brayden Chipman was a perfect gentleman and professional throughout the entire process. He took the time to show me other homes he had done recently, which was a real confidence builder. I was very particular about the type of roof and the ventilation system, and Brayden was more than happy to accommodate. Because Brayden was so fair and reasonable with his pricing for the roof, I decided to have my rain gutters replaced as well, including gutter guards that have worked very well so far. In the end, I was very happy with the results and would recommend Chipman to anyone who wants a quality roofing or rain gutter job completed professionally for a fair price. In fact, I referred him to my daughter, and he did an excellent job on her home as well.

  Chipman Roofing exceeded my expectations. From the initial consultation to the final clean-up, their team was courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive. The owner (Brayden) explained the entire process clearly, answered all my questions and made recommendations. The quality of their work is top-notch, and we're thrilled with our new roof! It looks amazing!! We wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

  I have worked with Chipman on a couple problems with our roof and Brayden (owner) has been incredible to work with. He is responsive but more importantly he has been helpful in finding solutions to some of the challenges that have been unique to our home. Would recommend.

  Great job, our new roof looks amazing. Our roof was stripped (2 layers) and replaced in one day. Preston was great to work with and checked on the work throughout the whole process. The workers did a great job of cleaning up. We had solar panels that had to be removed and Preston arranged to have solar people remove and replace them after the job was done. I would (and have already) recommend this company. They are fair, fast, and do great work.

  I found Chipman in a local home magazine after getting a couple of bids from other roofers. Chipman was responsive to my request, came in with a super competitive bid which won my business, and then they proceeded to do an amazing job on our roof! I am so thrilled to have found them when I did. I fully recommend them!
