  After 21 years of having gutter helmets, and slowly removing them, I have to tell you that they are the worst device I’ve ever seen. In heavy rains they pour out over the gutter and small leaves AND PINE NEEDLES can still get into the opening. I’ve had bees go in and build a nest where the water cannot come down the downspout. I found out that by removing them and just putting on wire guards, on top of your gutter, is better than gutter guards. IF YOU HAVE A LARGE ROOF WITH A VALLEY, YOU HAVE PROBLEMS ON HEAVY RAINS. Biggest mistake I ever made. The advertisement they give you on how the rain curves over this ‘special material, and goes into your gutter is ridiculous. Don’t fall for this type of advertisement. When you installed my gutter guards, no one ever mentioned that my roof line wasn’t correct and that my pine tree could be a problem

  Had a salesman come out this morning to obtain prices for an outdoor awning I have over 40 years dealing with customers as an electrician and never never have I come across the rudest salesman ever I would not ever have them come out and do any work what so ever

  I asked for a proposal for a very small job and got an insane estimate. Not sure if it was because I am female, or their prices are simply insane - but either way, completely unacceptable.

When you hire Century, you are getting experienced technicians as well as workmanship warranties and there is going to be a higher cost to that peace of mind then buying the supplies and installing them yourself. I can also assure you that our Gutter Manager is a female as well as half of our office staff.   Hi Michael, I’m sorry for the miscommunication on this project. We do provide free in-home estimates, and have been doing so for 46 years, on replacement roofing projects. We don’t provide free estimates for repairs as it’s harder to determine what needs to be done, therefore we consider those service calls that do have hourly rates. We originally sent an estimator out with the assumption that you needed a roof replacement, once our estimator arrived he realized that you were looking to have repairs done to your roof as soon as possible. Our estimators do not climb on the roof to assess damage, but a roofing technician could be sent to your home at an hourly service call rate. Once the technician can determine the damage and what it will take to fix the damage, we would then give you a price for the work. If you decided to sign a contract and use us to repair the damage, the service call fee would be waived.

  Chad came to our home to do an estimate. Chad seemed very rushed. He only spent 20 minutes at our home. He gave us 2 brochures and ran out. He left so quickly that he called later that day and said he forgot his notebook and couldn't give us an estimate without it. I spoke to his manager Marshall who was condescending and had nothing but excuses. Marshall was supposed to call me back....1 week later, no call back. I would not recommend using this company.

  Called them to look at a small job. They told me they could give me an estimate, them 16 weeks until they could start a job. Called another roofing contractor and 3 days later they came to estimate and immediately fixed the problem. They were here for 45 minutes and the repair was complete.

  I contacted John Sumpman to give me an estimate for a different job. While he was here I was going to inquire about windows from Century Spouting. He never showed up nor did he call to cancel or reschedule!

  The sales representative Chad March, field Manager Roger along with M1 and crew did an excellent job from start till finish in two days on our roof. Any questions or concerns were handled promptly. The team went above and beyond with clean up. I would use them again. Customer service was excellent! Thank you Century Home improvement.

  Needed a new roof after only 13 yrs and damaging winds this March. Roof previously done by another contractor in 2013. We had Century Home do our rain guards & spouting in 2018, windows replaced, plus two doors (one a slider) in 2023. It was not a hard decision to make about who to contract for our new roof. From Jake/Estimator, Roger (Roof quality control), Brandon and his roofing crew, our entire roof was completed in one day. Replacing the house roof, garage and porch roofs, along with some corner boards over the garage that had water damage. Tim's team, Brandon and Harrison did a great job in re-caulking and troubleshooting some concerns around the house as needed. Todd has been great to work with, responding to our needs within a timely manner and the office staff have all been professional and pleasant to speak with. Highly recommend.

  Century replaced an old window that had blown out by the wind. The job was done in a very professional manner and the installers were excellent. They were courteous and efficient and explained facets of the work that was done. They also did a great job of cleaning up any debris that they may have made and I could not have asked for better workmen.

  Century Home transformed my back yard this year with a slider privacy door conversion from a window & floating step. My new roof & black rainspouts & gutters are instant curb appeal. The Helmet Guard was well worth the investment for maintenance. No longer does my basement flood due to clogged gutters. Tod, Jake, Robbie, Roger, Brandon, Irv & Randy all so amiable, genuine, and diligent. The roofing & carpentry crews are top notch. Financing was a bonus! My friend rec'd $100 for referring me. The scope of work was impeccably itemized & detailed. 2 competitors failed to lay out SOW in a professional manner and one didn't want to move forward on the back yard transformation. This company treated me like a family member. I am so grateful for their talent, their compassion & their kindness.

  I have 2 skylights in my sunroom that are leakiing water when it rains. From the initial phone call to Century to the time Roger was done sealing up the glass on the skylights, I had a pleasant, professional experience. The gal that answered the phone laid out Century's process for me that was clear and Roger's thoroughness in his explanation about what is going on was more that I asked for. I recommend Century!

  I used Century to replace the roof on our son's house in Manheim. It required a shingled roof for the main house and a rubber roof over the back of the house. When they removed the old rubber roof, the substructure was rotted and unusable. They called me the first day and sent me pictures of the rotted roof. They gave me a quote on the spot for replacing the roof structure and framing. The next morning they had a framing crew out to replace the roof substructure and then they sealed it and put the new rubber roof on! The whole thing took less than 2 days and they did an amazing job! They were courteous and easy to deal with. Communications were prompt and personal. And they were less than the other quotes I had received for the work. I highly recommend and will absolutely use them again.

  We just had our Sunsetter awning fabric replaced this morning and are enjoying it right now. Follow-up by Jake was great, and Glenn and Branden did a fantastic job installing the 10'x20' fabric in only one hour! Kudos to Century!

  Century came out to see us soon after we had a problem with our awning on our back patio. To our surprise, it became detached due to the weather elements and century came out immediately to take care of the problem and resolve all of the issues. We have used them in the past and they have always given exceptional service and have very kind Employees representing them. I highly recommend this company for any of the services that they offer.
