  My husband and I had a very unfortunate experience with Bumble Roofing of the Midlands. We have a new baby, and had just learned that we would need a new roof or that it would eventually cave in from water damage. Insurance would not cover it due to it being installed incorrectly by a different company under the previous owners’ ownership. We were told by the Bumble salesman and by many other quoters that there would be a significant number of plywood sheets that would need to be replaced (50+). We confirmed this with our salesman Conner many times, even on recording, that they would be included in the quote we were being given. He even said that if there were more to be needed that Bumble would take care of them, and that they were not the type of company to “come back and demand more money.” After our roof was already completely off our home, Conner came back to us and demanded another $4,000 for additional plywood that we had already previously confirmed with him was covered under our quote. We were then left with our roof exposed overnight, which is against code in the state of South Carolina. And left us and our 7 month old baby boy completely exposed. The owner refused to speak to us and the company communication was threatening in nature. The job which at first they said would only take 1 day, ended up taking 4 days leaving me and my baby stranded in the car in the cold for him to nap as we don’t have family nearby. Truly a disgusting experience and taking advantage of a young family having to pay cash for their roof. The only reason there is only one star is for their sweet office manager Ashley who tried to help us all she could.

  What can I say? Im a first time home buyer and was nervous about the old roof. They were on time friendly and put me at ease. I didn't feel pushed to sign an estimate. It felt like I knew them. My questions were answered in a timely manner. Overall great service. Highly recommended.
