  Minor repair. Approximately 2' to 3' of shingles came off my roof in high winds. The quote to repair was $800!!! I received other quotes for $250. Ridiculous! Come on, give a fair quote!

  I hired Brightside for a roof replacement that included removing and reinstalling my solar panels. The estimate process was great, and they even patched a couple of leaks before I committed, which I appreciated. The roof itself was done well, but everything after that went downhill. My panels were removed on May 24, and it took over a month of constant excuses to get them reinstalled—delays blamed on parts, weather, or scheduling. When the panels were finally back up, they didn't work, and I was told how to fix them myself. Totally unacceptable after paying for a professional service. They were finally working by July 3. During the final walkthrough on July 10, I pointed out siding damage caused during the install. I paid in full after being promised someone would follow up in a couple of days. It's now July 17, and I haven’t heard from anyone. The roof looks fine, but the back-and-forth, the lack of professionalism, and the extra cost from higher electric bills made this a frustrating experience. I can't recommend Brightside based on how poorly everything was handled after the initial install.

Although they are a trusted partner, your experience is not reflective of the standards we expect. I’m truly sorry for the delays and lack of communication you dealt with. Update: We did everything we could to get you financed through many of our partnered banks. They all unfortunately declined to finance with you. For legal reasons we do not finance directly, this was never a personal attack it was simply company policy. We wish you the very best.

  This company is very unprofessional. They repeatedly solicit in our neighborhood even with a "no solicitors" sign at the entrance of the neighborhood. They also ignore signs by the front door saying "no solicitors" and will still ring the doorbell. We didn't plan on ever using them anyways... when we bought our home, they were hired by the seller to do the major repairs. On closing day, we did a final walk through and were dissatisfied with their shoddy patch job work. Our realtor was wonderful and had them redo everything to a professional standard.

  We had Brightside build a sunroom addition. We worked with Brian and Jason. Brian was not professional at all. The construction people showed up when they felt like it. The permit was never pulled until after the project was finished. The materials for the projected damaged my lawn. By far the worst experience that we had. We were literally playing cat and mouse to have Brightside get the project inspected. I am giving 2 stars because some of the employees were good to work with. Jason was professional and pleasant to work with. The 2 gentleman that did the construction were professional. I have photos from the start to the end of this project.

  Shame. I called to have a spot repaired, confirmed the age of the roof, explained it was a small leak around a gutter or small spot where a tree limb used to lay, and was confirmed an appointment. Shows up, says the whole roof is done wrong, he doesn't work on a roof older than 10 years. Waste of time. I really wish all this was confirmed over the phone when I called and gave all of the information to the receptionist without wasting both of our time.

  Jason McPherson, Sr. Product Consultant for BrightSide, was professional and very knowledgeable of all BrightSide products and work policies. The crew arrived at stated time and work was complete in the quoted time. They were all professional and the cleanup was amazing. Thanks to all who worked on my roof and for the fantastic job and workmanship. From my first inquiry at the offices of BrightSide with Heather regarding having my roof inspected, having the inspection of my old roof and the explanation by Jason of my roof issues, the cost and process of getting a new roof, getting the new roof on and to the final walk around, the experience was stress free and efficient. My BrightSide new roof adds a lovely element of attractiveness to my home.
