  Incompetent, unreliable and disrespectful.Called them out for a porch roof leak and some other roof work, we try to use local business when possible. Completed other work, but leak moved from porch to inside house leak. After 2 more attempts and an additional $1000 the porch roof still leaks. Called or texted 15 times over 6 months, every time Jay would say someone would come take care of it. No one ever contacted me or showed up. Eventually spent another $1000 to get a reputable roofer to actually repair the initial problem and the missing screws and half finished job that Jays crew left. Avoid at all costs, not a reputable business. Update to your reply: You display your incompetence yet again. My roof was 11 year old metal roof, not 40 years old. You fixed the leaking porch by causing it to leak INSIDE the house through the ceiling. Multiple lies from you saying someone was coming to address the porch leak that returned after the ceiling leak you caused was diverted back to the porch. Never apologized for the multiple ceiling stains you caused. Reputable roofer came and found loose panels and screws laying around not securing anything leaving holes for rain to seep in. Incompetence is one thing but lying again and again and not having the professionalism or guts to try and explain yourself in person is pure cowardice.

  Very uncalled for considering any repair work is not warranted. We did everything we could to repair this 40 year old roof & stopped the roofing leak / bought more time for over a year. This review is disturbing. God bless you anyhow.

  Thorough communication on the parts of this process that benefit him, acquiring the job and getting paid. Forget it after that. Jay’s roofing installed our roof, and we then had a large leak in our closet that was not there prior to installation. After multiple attempts to contact him he finally came back out and fixed an issue he found. At the time he promised to repair the damage in our closet. Fast forward to another heavy rain and continued leaking with no follow up on repair to the previous damage. It has been months of calling and texting with promises to come out but he ignores phone calls and will not commit to a time to take accountability for his work. We get things go wrong, and have been more than accommodating . Take home, hope they get your roof right the first time and proceed with caution. We will now have to hire someone else to fix his work.

  Avoid This Contractor at All Costs My experience with this contractor was frustrating from beginning to end. I hired the company for a simple flashing job, and while the initial quote seemed reasonable, everything fell apart after I paid the requested $200 deposit. The project was supposed to be completed within a week. Instead, the worker showed up late with the wrong color materials, promised to return, and then vanished for weeks without communication. Eventually, he admitted he couldn’t find the correct materials and asked me to purchase them myself—which took me all of five minutes at a local lumber yard. Unfortunately, that small hiccup snowballed into months of missed appointments and flimsy excuses. I asked for a refund, and instead of honoring the request, the worker showed up, damaged the materials (making them non-returnable), then declared he couldn’t complete the job. I dealt directly with the owner, Mr. Bell, who repeatedly promised a refund but failed to deliver. I was left with no choice but to take legal action in small claims court. During the hearing, Mr. Bell concocted a story claiming I changed the job multiple times and that his worker spent hours on site—which my meticulously documented text exchanges completely disproved. The court ruled in my favor, ordering him to repay me for both the down payment and the unusable materials. Over a year later, even after serving him twice with a writ of execution, he still hasn’t paid the judgment. His complete lack of professionalism and disregard for legal obligations says everything you need to know. Verdict: If you're considering hiring this contractor—don't. Save your time, your money, and your sanity.

  Had a appointment set up for August 8, no call no show. People take time off of work to get an estimate at least show up.

  Jay is very prompt, courteous, and fair with his pricing. We had an issue that could have very well invited another company to propose a host of "necessary" repairs, but this was not our experience. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs roofing and gutter work done.

  Blue jays Roofing Did a great job on our Personal shop roof ! Highly recommend ! They have also installed several of our other roofs on properties as well ! Some were metal and others was Shingle ! Thx for the good work !!!
