The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Black Hills Exteriors. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.
What reviewers keep mentioning
Topics Google extracted from this business’s reviews, with how many mention each. These are words that appeared in reviews, which is not the same as a service the business sells.

We contacted Black Hills Exteriors to give us a quote to replace our home’s windows. We had been trying to reach the manufacturer regarding a possible warranty claim, but after many calls were unable to resolve our issue. Kenny came to our home to assess our situation and give us a quote. After meeting with us, Kenny offered to help contact the manufacturer’s warranty division. He was able to reach the company to set up a time for us to meet with a representative. It would have been easy for Kenny to give us a quote for new windows. Instead he went out of his way to help solve our issue and put our needs first. His caring attitude and professionalism are outstanding. We would highly recommend Kenny & Black Hills Exteriors.

We couldn't have been more pleased working with Jim West and the crew from Gillette, WY. Our roof was put on in less than a day. Our price quote was exactly what Jim said it would be with no hidden costs . I would not hesitate to recommend Black Hills Exteriors for your next project.

Taken from the business’s own website. We have not checked any of it. These are quotes, not credentials — a roofer writing “licensed and insured” on their homepage is not evidence that they are.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 10 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 10, of which 9 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Black Hills Exteriors. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
