  Updated review: so they called me couple months later and tried to bribe me to give a better review i have a recording of said conversation so they cannot deny it either. Dont use bay they are awful took months to get work correctly done. Had to get them to replace the gutters because they were installed before the new roof and were damaged after the roof went in. among many other issues that were not communicated correctly.

  Hello Jay, We are disappointed to read this update as it does not reflect the efforts we made to address your concerns. We also would like to note that the photos included in your review do not represent the current condition of the roof. We have returned and have fixed all these issues. We took detailed photos and brought them to the homeowner to show what was completed. We have corrected and completed the requested repairs and adjustments. The concerns shown in the photos were addressed. We would like to clarify that the original agreement was for roofing work only. The fascia repairs referenced in your review were not included in the initial scope of work. However, as a gesture of goodwill and to provide additional value to our customer, we completed the fascia repairs at no additional cost. We understand that you remain dissatisfied; If you wish to provide an updated review, we would encourage you to include current photos that reflect the roof in its present condition following the repairs that were completed on the small addition. Throughout this process, we made efforts to respond to your concerns, and reach a resolution.We wish you and your family all the best moving forward.

  Tried to get a qouat the guy came to the house only interest was selling shingles i already have the tin never got call back don't trust this company

  Don't get caught with their speech about gutter protection. It don't work. You still have to clean them because debris clogs the top of the gutter protection. Wasting your hard earned money.

  I live in St.Charles, between Sudbury and North Bay. It’s extremely difficult to find contractors that are willing to work in more remote areas. I went ahead and booked with Bay Roofing - they were prompt to come out and offer a quote. This was a relief considering I had already dealt with other roofing companies that ghosted me in after initial contact. When I called to ask questions, they were quick to offer a discounted rate if I booked that day. Done! I was given a date for the job, that was about 4 weeks out from the quote. I was happy with how quickly they would come out! That date came and went with NO CONTACT from the company. I had to call to ask what happened and was told that dates aren’t guaranteed. That’s fine, but no one called me!? After my follow up, the initial salesperson I spoke to reached out to me, asking me to talk to her specifically if I had issues. However, every time I was rescheduled I spoke to someone different. I was rescheduled 5 times and the job was never done. If you live outside of the city, you will not be prioritized or considered. I was given no explanation, no apology, no follow up. Edit: Regarding your response below - the roof was being done for my place of business, not my home. Also, the weather was absolutely beautiful through September this year. I don't accept that weather was an issue/excuse. We had no rain - just blue skies and sunshine. Although I appreciate your follow up on Google - a phone call or email to rectify the situation would have been more appropriate instead of the "Ok, we will take you off our list." At this time, I am trying to recoup the lost income - and worry about the ongoing leak in my roof through another winter/spring season. Frustration is an under statement.

  Good morning Suzie, Thank you very much for your honest feedback. We appreciate being aware of issues that our customers face during their experience so we can strive to do better in the future. With the weather we have faced the past few months, it has been very difficult to make accurate bookings. Although we prefer bright and sunny weather it seems as though the weatherman has given us the opposite. Adding to that, when we have the privilege on beginning a project for a customer there are many times, we run into unforeseen circumstances such as double layers of shingles, wood rot, etc. Depending on the severity this can change a project timeline drastically. Although we create room in our schedule for unforeseen circumstances, there are exceptionally out of our control. We do let customers know that these are tentative dates, and the timeline could change, however- we do 100% understand the frustration of getting moved 5-6 times, as this is not common for us at all. With that, we do not require homeowners to be present during install, however being such a large investment, we do understand how some homeowners want to take time off work to be there. Rest assured we do not prioritize in town vs out of town customers. We prioritize jobs based on their confirmation date. It is absolutely important for us to have clear communication with our customers, and when dates change outside of the tentative timeline you should be notified without any exception.. Again, we greatly apologize and will ensure in the future we will grow from this and provide better service for our customers and if given the opportunity with you, we will ensure to make this right. If this is an option for you, please give Kassandra a call at the North Bay office.

  Should not take on customers if u cancel on them at 4:30pm on Friday when the job was starting on Monday, would not accommodate if there was a cancellation with a customer to slide me in but she was willing to take 20% down then do the repairs in 2024 lol no thanks, that’s like me asking u for 20% down to make sure u show up. This roof was urgent replacement as I just bought the house and was booked for the repair ruffly 2 months prior, U guys broke out of your own contract.. 1 ⭐️ rating 👍

  Had many phone calls with the girl at the office, very unhelpful, very disrespectful and rude, totally understand being behind especially with the weather- but she didn’t have to respond in such a mean and vicious way, hopefully she doesn’t stay long- bay roofing will lose a lot of customers if so. In response to the response I received This review is on behalf of someone who was supposed to receive their roof done by this company. It has come to my attention there is no professionalism happening in Sudbury. There is a much bigger picture going on. With this happening I don’t foresee the company lasting very long

The girls at the Sudbury office work very hard to provide exceptional customer service for our customers. This circumstance is the first we have heard of. We typically have raving customers speaking about their professionalism and customer service so much as they go out of their way to write positive reviews to showcase their experiences. With your circumstance I ask that you call the North Bay office to speak with Kassandra so we can get a better understanding of this situation to ensure that we can make this right going forward.
