  I have always had this concern with anything that has a really long warranty... Will the company be there to service the warranty or is it all just a big scam. Well, I had a roof done about 9 years ago by a company that does not exist any longer. But that company was bought by Bakersfield Roofing. That roof has a leak, so I contacted the original company, which forwarded me to this one. It was a crazy stormy weekend, which is pretty rare in Bakersfield. I left a message that stated something about how I was surprised they were not working because of the crazy weather (it was a Saturday). They never call me back. So I follow up with them, and this is really what the review is about. When I call them again on Tuesday, the owner actually answers the phone. He tells me that he thinks my comments about working on the weekends is rude and that he is entitled to a vacation. That is how it started. I explain how he bought my warranty, and he says he doesn’t think that is how it works. I told him I am sure it is how it works because I have seen lawsuits about it. He keeps making very aggressive comments at me, and when I try to respond (in a nice way, trying to get on the right foot), he cuts me off and says he is not going to argue with me. He did this like 5 times… Makes and inflammatory comment, I begin to respond, and then he cuts me off and says he is not going to argue. Then he started asking me if I did something to the roof, and I said, just go look at it. He finally does, which takes way longer than I would have expected. He did some kind of patch or sealing according to the tenant and is supposed to call me back and explain what is going on. He never does. I call him a week later and he made some excuse about HVAC people needing to seal things anytime they are up there (never heard that one before). Blah blah blah, he kept making weird excuses and speculating on what happened. I just want it fixed so it does not cause damage to my property. Bottom line is that

  First of all you are rude and left me a rude message. Second the 2nd day I got back from vacation I went to investigate the roof leak & the leak is coming in were your Ac connected to your duct elbow was cracked apart and needs to be re-sealed and while I was there I did that I sealed the ac unit to the duct work & we are not responsible for AC maintenance. Your roof is 9 years old with never any leaks but because of your lack of maintenance you want someone to blame & write a bad review about. not to mention your roof is caked with leaves & debris wich is blocking water ways in order for the roof to drain properly. So let me get this straight you leave me a rude message because I was on Xmas vacation when I get back I go to your house fix the leak and seal the AC unit to the ductwork with no charge but yet you leave me a bad review I also have all the pictures to back up what i am talking about & emailed you the pictures so to who ever reads just know what kind of person left this review!!!!!!! God bless you

  Called and got the runaround for a roofing repair. Noone wanted to give me a quote.

  I was nervous about replacing a roof because it's a major expense, but this company made me feel comfortable from the beginning. The estimate was detailed, the communication was consistent, and there were no surprise charges. The job was completed on schedule, and everything looked exactly as promised when finished.

  I’m really happy with the service from Bakersfield Roofing Inc. They came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, and got the roof repaired in no time. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I’d definitely use them again!

  I called probably every roofer in Bakersfield and it would have saved me a lot of time if I would have called this company first. Jerry's customer service is wonderful. His team completed a roof on my multifamily home. I am pleased, he is more knowledgeable than many others in his field. Thank you, Jerry!

  Happy to give Jerry and the crew at Bakersfield Roofing a 5-star review. From the day Jerry came out to give me an estimate, to the completion of putting a new roof on my house, everything was done professionally, promptly, and transparently. When Jerry came out to give me an estimate, he showed me exactly what I needed and why. During the actual roofing process, when additional work was needed, he showed me exactly what was needed and why. I never felt like I was being jerked around or taken advantage of. And when all was said and done, the final cost was still less than the quotes I got from other local companies! When my insurance company had questions, we called Jerry. He was put on the spot and really came through for me. He was always easy to get ahold of and always had honest and accurate answers. If you've read this far, you're in the same situation I was in - I needed a new roof, needed the job done right, and needed a company I could trust. Bakersfield Roofing was that company. Do your homework, read a bunch of reviews, get your estimates. And then, when you pick Bakersfield Roofing, and all the work is done, come back and tell me I was right! Or even better - write your own 5-star review!

  Very responsive. Returns calls, communicates clearly. They inspected a roof for me and documented everything very well and almost immediately. Several other companies have yet to even return my first phone calls yet but Bakersfield Roofing, Inc. has already put a report in my hand.

  Protec Roofing was hands down beyond easy to work with. They stuck to the timeline that was agreed on and installed a beautiful roof. Our roof has dormers and is steep since it’s a two story custom home. They didn’t blink an eye or treat our roof like it was difficult at all. They communicated every step and were very efficient with their time. We don’t live in Bakersfield and they were still on time everyday. Highly recommend this company.
