Roofing nightmare! My roof started leaking badly in 3 places. 2 days after they finished, demanded videos and pictures to come back and inspect, came back and said it was due to a missing piece of wood, had not done flashing correctly or …

Hello Beth, This is Gabriel with Bear Mountain Roofing Inc. I’m responding directly to your review to address the claims lies being made. First, your roof project passed all required inspections by the county, including the final inspection. This confirms the work met code and was approved by a third-party inspector. When you initially reported a concern, I personally returned the same day and completed repairs at no additional cost. The issue at that time was related to alterations made to the chimney area after our work was completed, including removal of siding/fascia, which contributed to the leak. That condition was addressed immediately. Your current claims now include items that were never part of our contract, such as insulation and unrelated interior damage. These were not included in the agreed scope of work. It is also important to clarify that the project remains unpaid. You informed us after completion that you were unable to pay the full balance and only provided $4,000 toward the total. Additionally, a payment made directly to the material supplier was later disputed as fraud. Despite this, we still made efforts to respond and address your concerns. We take pride in our work and in resolving legitimate issues promptly. However, we cannot accept false or misleading statements about the quality of work, especially when the project was inspected and approved. At this point, due to the outstanding balance and the nature of these claims, this matter is being handled formally. We will be pursuing the remaining balance through the appropriate legal channels. We stand by the quality of our work and the service we provided. — Gabriel Gomez Bear Mountain Roofing Inc.

Bear Mountain Roofing completely reroofed our house - old roof was over 35 years and way overdue. Once they got up there they found the old roofer had just shingled over 3 layers of roofing material and tongue and groove, no plywood except over addition to house. They also replaced some tongue and groove under the eaves that were damaged. Price was fair, crew worked fast, cleaned up after themselves, done in no time. Would use them again and tell anyone around here looking for a roofer to call Bear Mountain.
