  They came out to give me an estimate for my roof and gutters. The sales rep showed up on time and sent me a quote for both. I agreed to the gutter contract and they gave me a date they would show up. They were a no show. Go with someone else!

  I scheduled an appointment however, the day of the appointment I was called stating the technician had a family emergency (perfectly understandable) therefore I had to reschedule. On the day of the reschedule, the technician did NOT show up, call, or anything. I called to get information, however no explanation was given, plus I didn't receive a call back to re-reschedule. Just a complete waste of my time. There was no customer service recovery attempt made whatsoever from this company to rectify the situation. Sorry, but I can NOT endorse a good experience.

  Reached out to Baker about having some flashing work to be done around my chimney. Was quoted nearly $3000 for something that should be 1000-15000. Was then told he would discount it to 2200 to try and save me some money. Told the representative that I thought that was still a little high and he came back with a "quote" for 1800 after discussing his quote with his boss. Caved cause I needed the work done to close on the sale of my house. Guess what never happened on the scheduled day? Never got a phone call, text or email saying that the work was going to be delayed. DO NOT use Baker Roofing, there are so many other things that happended but I dont want to write a novel. The entire process was extremely unprofessional and nearly caused my house to not close on time.

  First and foremost, we would like to apologize for the experience you had with Baker Roofing Company. It is never our desire for a customer, who put their trust in us, to walk away feeling as you do. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases where we over-promised for you and under-delivered. Our initial high quote was a direct result of us trying to speed an estimate over to you beyond our scheduled capacity. Therefore, because of us not being able to perform a thorough investigation of the issue, we had to include for many unknowns (this is not our standard practice). Additionally, our schedule failure on the work being performed was our attempt to get the work performed completed prior to your closing when our schedule was already full. We do not share this information to justify our actions, only to attempt to be transparent with you on what we discovered as our points of failure. While unfortunately we cannot rewind the clock and correct your experience, we promise to use it as an experience to make us better and pursue our mission of Always Good Work.

  Justus and the team were on top of every aspect of the job. Fast accurate quoting, communication was fantastic, showed up on time and provided all the information needed to make a good decision. Installation was quick and good quality. The whole experience from 1st call to final cleanup was only one week. And that was over the holiday.

  Justus and Troy were really amazing. They identified an issue with our roof and fixed it right away. They were very professional, honest and pleasant to work with. They gave me photos of everything that was done and what needed to be done. I highly recommend the Baker Home Exteriors company.   Excellent! It was time to replace my 18 year old roof and Baker made the process super easy! Justus and Troy were easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. The roofers did a fantastic job and honestly left my yard and deck cleaner than it was before! I would highly recommend Baker!

A hip roof slopes on all four sides, so wind meets an inclined plane whichever direction it arrives from and the pressure spreads across the structure. A gable presents a flat wall to it. Nobody is changing the shape of their house, and this is not an argument for one over the other. What it changes is where the attention goes on a replacement: on a hipped Lowcountry roof the ridges and the hips are the long exposed lines, so the cap, the fastening pattern along them and the edge metal are where the job is won or lost.4 days agoCall now
