  We had our roof replace and a side of vinyl siding repaired by Authentic Restoration about 6 and a half years ago. The initial process was unpleasant, and I questioned their work during the repair process. It was SO BAD I requested that the foreman NEVER return to my house after a certain point. I felt that they were laying the first row of shingle incorrectly and had the foreman out at that time and many others. He told me I had the "best and expensive" gutter guards and that I could have them removed to make the roof look straighter, or keep them on, but the shingles were laid correctly and the warranty on the roof/shingles would be void if changed. We opted to keep the guards that predated the new (then) roof as we didn't want to have to worry with clogged gutters. I also complained numerous times about the siding repair as the length of siding that needed to be replaced required no splicing of the pieces; however, the installers pieced it together with what I would almost call seconds. I felt my insurance paid top dollar for this roof (12,000) and siding (40000-5000) at the time which I thought was outrageous; however, it needed to be done, and I wanted it to be hassle free - NOT! In 2022 there was a dark spot on the ceiling in the living room; I contacted the company. I will say that this was a more pleasant interaction. The worker went into the attic with me, and we tried to determine how the water, if any, was getting in. We didn't find any defects. I would almost change my star rating to a 2 b/c of this interaction, but........ I thought that we had finally hashed out all the issue until I had the old gutter guards replaced recently. The gutter company called during the process and told me some shingles were missing. I asked if he had torn a few accidently during the replacement, he said no that they were ALL missing on the initial row on the front of the house. I asked if he had torn the entire first row off, and he stated no. They were never placed. Only

We regret that your initial experience with Authentic Restoration was not satisfactory. The foreman addressed your concerns at that time, and explained the gutter guards and that any changes would void the warranty on your roof. Regarding the siding repair, our team used materials in accordance with industry standards to ensure a proper fit and secure installation. We apologize if the final appearance did not meet your expectations. On my visit to your home in 2022, I did not see any splicing of the materials used to replace the siding and you didn’t make any mention of it. In 2022, when you noticed a dark spot on your ceiling, I personally visited your property and inspected the attic with you. During this inspection, we did not find any defects in the roofing system. I appreciate you highlighting how pleasant our interaction was on that day. Recently, you contacted me directly about missing shingles after your gutter guards were replaced. The pictures you sent clearly showed damaged, torn, and missing shingles. It is important to note that when the gutter guards are installed, they are installed between the starter and the first row of shingles. This ensures that the starter row seals to the bottom of the gutter guard and the shingle seals to the top side of them. Once sealed, it is nearly impossible to remove the gutter guards without causing damage to the shingles, hence why it voids the roof warranty. The damage you observed was absolutely, and without any doubt, caused by the gutter company's removal of the guards. What is disconcerting to me is that you were aware that removing the gutter guards would void the roof warranty, a decision you made without consulting us before the gutter company performed the work.   Nick and Mark are the best! They did everything they promised they would do and made sure that everything was done exactly to spec and in a timely manner. Even after the installation was complete and the workers were gone they came back and inspected my entire property for stray nails and any small debris that was left. I am very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs roof repair or replacement.

  Noticed some shingles had come off the roof following a storm and a new water spot in an upstairs bedroom. Authentic was out the within 24 hours and on the roof. They were very attentive to detail and professional. They were very knowledgeable about the claims process and working with the insurance company. 10/10 would use them again if in need of roofing services.

  These guys are just awsome. Not only they did an amazing job, but took all the stress of me by dealing with my insurance. They cleaned after, didn't cause any damage to surrounding landscaping. Very professional, very knowledgeable, and very helpful in general. I highly recommend them to any personal or comercial house/roof needs!
