  1 star. I had a very frustrating experience with Southern Guard Roofing from start to finish. It began with constant knocking and very pushy sales tactics. They kept coming back and really pressured me into moving forward instead of giving me space to make a decision. It already felt off, but I decided to give them a chance anyway. Once the process started, things didn’t get any better. Communication was poor, timelines weren’t clear, and I constantly felt like I had to chase them down for updates. When it came time to actually do the roof, the work felt rushed and sloppy. There were clear signs corners were cut, and the final result did not meet expectations at all. What made it worse was how management handled everything. Anytime I brought up concerns, they were brushed off or not taken seriously. Instead of owning the issues, it felt like they were trying to avoid responsibility and just move on. I also wasn’t comfortable with some of the conversations around the insurance side of things—it didn’t feel transparent or straightforward, which raised a lot of red flags for me. Overall, this was not a professional or trustworthy experience. Between the aggressive sales approach, poor workmanship, and lack of accountability, I would not recommend using this company.
