DO NOT call this company for any drainage issues. From the beginning I explained and made it very clear the project (french drain) that I wanted done and the amount of water that I needed drained off of my property. Their first attempt of a French drain was not even where I told them I wanted it and after a rain my driveway started washing away. I left a one-star review and the owner called me with a bad attitude telling me to take it down because it was bad for business. We eventually came to an agreement that if he fixed it I would take the review down. The second attempt got a little closer to what I wanted but I needed a grate in a specific spot to drive over and the installer just put it where he thought it needed to go and the drain still isn't where I wanted it. I could have gotten over that but now it still cannot withstand the rain season and I am having 2 in of standing water on the back of my house. This also happened when it snowed and it all melted, creating the same lake on my property. I wish I would not have hired this company for my french drain. Now, my driveway is being washed down the street because of this poor work of this company. Paid them to destroy my property, thank you ARS construction

The roof ARS put on our home. It was better before the tornado. Unfortunately we will never use this company again. Yes I am a customer and we negotiated to close the contract because of the horrible caliber of work we received. I don’t wish to have you on my property again.. Likely you have our project under my husband’s name.

    Reply from the business

We don’t have any customer in our database with this name, and the picture does not look like the type of shingles we install. For that reason, we believe this is a fake review. On the off chance you are a customer of ours, please call our office so we can resolve this ASAP. We have no way to reach out because, again, the name Craig Walters does not show up in our database.

I've been trying really hard to work with these people. I paid them (I was told in full) to start work on my hail damage in April of 2025. They have yet to start. Every time I call to get an update someone different gets on the phone tells me someone else dropped the ball checks my account and says they are trying to match my siding to available colors at Lowes. They apologize and say it's unacceptable and that someone will bring some samples by. The last time I called, the person I spoke with told me that the guy handling my project doesn't work there anymore, that the money I paid was only a down payment, and that if I would agree, the best thing might be to start over. With some reticence, I agreed and he said someone would contact me for an appointment to come reassess the damage and restart the claim etc. That was over two weeks ago. They can't seem to keep up with my project, but every month they send me an email asking me to rate their performance on their "finished work". Well here's your rating. Do the job or give me my money back. After I wrote this review, I immediately got a reply and work is now finished to my satisfaction. Everything looks good. The 3 teams that came were pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. Project managers did not seem to communicate as well as they could have, however. I told the guy who scheduled the siding team (one day before they came) that I would not be in that morning and he did not say I needed to be. When they arrived they called me to ask me to come home and show them what needed doing. I could point out a few holes from the ground, but surely these guys should have been given the detailed reports, measurements, and photos that the inspectors/managers had made? I had no idea what "fascia" even referred to, but the crew-lead kept asking me about it. Because of this I called to find out if the work being done was the work that needed doing and had been approved by insurance. I was told the guy probably asked me quest

The project rep and the owner were both at church in Illinois, and the rep booked the appointment too close together. We apologize for the inconvenience and want to make this right. The owner has reached out to do the inspection personally and ensure the rest of your experience goes smoothly and on time.

Terrible communication throughout. Took over a year and a half to complete the project. Installed the windows multiple times. Even now totally done I'm finding random things. Patio lights reinstalled using decking screws and no wire nuts (wrapped the wires in electrical tape). Required constant redos throughout. The metal roof on the shed had to get done essentially 3 times. It was a battle the entire way through

No stars, Lies and unprofessional. Zero stars, over a year and a half and zero service equals zero stars. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company to no avail. Crazy unprofessional and "No Bueno" IMHO of course.

Two nights ago, an ARS construction truck cut into my lane in front of a target and almost hit me. We both had our windows down and i asked the driver if he was cutting the lanes a little close, he then proceeded to say something to me about going too fast despite me being in my turning lane and him complete cutting into my lane. I told the kid that he needed to watch it and stay in his lane and then he asks me if i want to fight and accusing me of road rage, despite him starting this whole interaction with his poor driving in a company vehicle and suggesting we fight. I don't know who runs this company, but you should definitely inform your employees that aggressive and rude behavior in company vehicles is a bad business decision. Attached is a photo taken by a bystander walking out of target who witnessed the entire thing.

ARS was very thorough in providing the most detailed assessment to my insurance company during one of the most difficult and under estimated storms in St Louis history. I will forever be grateful for them.

I had a man named John visit my home and look at my roof after we had a damaging hail storm. He said the roof had holes from the hail and he offered to help me get a new roof on the house. So far, a new roof was installed, some of the gutters need replaced and the windows need new wrap on them. I am very happy with the new roof. I chose a lighter color and it looks wonderful! Waiting now to see when the gutters and windows will be repaired and replaced.

I recently had my roof replaced by ARS Construction, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, working with Ethan was incredibly smooth and stress free. I was blown away by the turnaround time. The whole project was finished in just one week from the initially contact.

The ARS "cold call" occurred quickly following the storm damage in March 2025; the rep was friendly and informative. I used the literature he provided to conduct due diligence. The BBB and other sources reflected ARS as an experienced contractor without negative comments. Ethan Larson, the ARS sales rep, quickly responded to our request for support providing an overview of how ARS interacts with insurance providers. He participated when the insurance adjuster arrived, helping to point out damages to be included under the insurance settlement. He helped us select replacement roofing, siding, and shutters. The new roofing was installed quickly; all phases of the roofing experience were to our complete satisfaction. However, from this point on our satisfaction level with ARS lessened as the progress dragged on for 10 months. We received all funding for restoration products and services from the insurance company relatively quickly without any problems. That funding was subsequently provided to ARS as requested. Replacement siding was ordered, received, and installation began. It was then discovered that the materials received had an insufficient quantity of one siding style we selected and too much of another. Therefore, this phase of the project incurred a delay of several weeks to reorder, receive, schedule, and complete the installation. During this process I told the installers that our house as built required attic gable vents, however they did not listen and covered the existing vents with new siding. The vents were reinstalled months after the siding portion of the project was completed. The next step was new gutters and downspouts. The completion of this effort took several weeks and yes, we experienced rain without those products protecting our landscaping. Additionally, the size of the replacement gutters and downspouts was smaller than what was previously on our house. ARS discovered that shutters we selected months in the past were not av
