  BEWARE using ARMSTRONG ROOFING We hired Armstrong Roofing after getting quotes from 3 different companies and taking the most affordable price of $18,400, probably not the best way to pick companies as we all know. We were scheduled for 12/16/19 and due to some weather issues it was going to be moved to 1/7/2020 and we asked if it could be done earlier and were told they could start on 12/18/19 with a 5-7 day finish day. Rain was forecast throughout this time however we were never discouraged from doing it and figured as professionals they knew what they were doing. The work started on 12/18/19 and went through 12/20/19, on 12/21/19 the workers were given the day off to Christmas shop despite forecasts of high winds and heavy rains over the night and following day. My husband contacted the company with this information asking if the workers had secured everything, they never came by and the owner was out of town. In the evening of 12/21/19 heavy winds arrived and blew several metal pieces off the roof causing danger to our animals, they did come the next day to secure things and cover the roof with “water proof” material. The roofers informed us to contact them with any sign of leaks (My old roof never had any leaks, there were no previous water leaks in my home at all). On 12/23 there were heavy rains and in the evening I noticed a large leak forming in the living room area. The roofers were contacted and came out to try to stop the leaks, when my husband returned home from work he helped them and we noticed a leak coming through the light in the bathroom and upon further inspection a leak started in both of our daughter’s rooms and the master bedroom. Inspection of the attic found a lot of water leaking into the insulation and through the roof and garage. The roofers (workers) even informed my husband they had never seen leaks like this and that it turns out the material they had used (new to them) was “water resistant” not “water proof”.   Vicki I do feel maybe if would of been able to meet personally face to face to discuss matters we could of had better resultions. There is always 2 sides to every situation. I do understand your frustration and we feel awful we got caught in this storm before we could finish roof. *However Original forecast did not show rain or wind until already in progress. *We NEVER take a chance of tearing off a roof if we have weather coming in. Due to the house being large would be *humanly impossible to finish before rain. But then the WIND came as well and was really bad.* 70-80 mile wind. So although secure, the wind as you know causes a lot of damage. *But we were concerned! *We both came out. Guys came out, several times.!! Even when no one home. Kenny would of got on the roof himself if he wasnt just in an accident. **Kenny also offered to meet with you and husband personally to address your concerns . But you "Refused". And we said we would remedy the situation. And-Because this type of situation with unexpected wind, & rain,..... when Mold remediation "OWNER" came out **he mentioned damages covered under home owners insurance** . *We never said you had to do that. *We planned on making it right.* Paying for it ourselves. We did not go through our liability insurance because our deductible would have been higher than what it would cost to fix the issues . We also brought **Licesed contactor,** painter who also does repair all day long including insulation drywall, plastering, and painting.**"Not handy man"** *Moisture was checked* it was minimal and any insulation that needed to be replaced was going to be done. **There was no mold issue**. The house wasnt flooded. Mold grows when there's water damage for a long period of time without correction. The roof was immediately completed. As soon as possible. We do have to schedule around the rain all the time and the "material" was * Quality Material* and It is superior to typical 15lb or 30lb felt. It i

  BEST ROOFER around! I would recommend Armstrong Roofing to anyone looking for an honest, professional, and high quality roofer. I encountered some unforeseen challenges and they were resourceful and understanding every step of the way. As a new homeowner I was fearful of being taken advantage of but Armstrong is a company with high integrity and honest values. They didn’t price gouge me or have hidden fees. They quoted honestly and upheld their contract. I would give them my business again and again.

  Great to work with. Kenny answered all of my questions. He and his crew are very professional. Kenny was helpful with extras like new HVAC and adding insulation, and a solar tube for extra light in our hall way. They did a complete reroof, and the results are amazing.   I have a flat roof which leaked considerably causing interior drywall damage. Armstrong roofing was incredibly professional and responsive in coming out and addressing the problem, fixing it providing quality work!!
