  Staring up at a fresh water stain on the ceiling is a terrible feeling, so I’m really glad you gave us a call when you did. Water can be incredibly tricky, but my crew and I actually enjoy the challenge of hunting it down behind the shingles and flashing to find the exact entry point. Catching it early and stopping that leak on the spot is the best way to keep your interior drywall and wood framing from getting ruined.   Quick repairs are the jobs where cleanup gets skipped most often — a contractor figures it's a small fix and leaves nails, shingle scrap, and tear-off debris behind in the yard. Running a magnet sweep and clearing the gutters of debris on a half-day repair is the same standard we hold on a full roof. Glad the repair was a non-event for you.   Sammy is the real deal. Had some wind damage and he patched it up perfectly without trying to drag out the process or pad the bill. He’s super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and doesn't mess around. If you want honest work done right the first time, call Sammy.

  Jayden — wind damage repairs are exactly the kind of job that gets padded by contractors who know homeowners aren't going to climb up and verify the work. A few lifted shingles can get quoted as a section replacement, or a single torn flashing detail can turn into a full perimeter redo. The honest call is to repair what's actually compromised and leave the sound material alone. Glad we could get yours patched and weathertight without dragging it out. Appreciate the recommendation.

  I had Sammy and his worker come out to do my roof and chimney, all I can say is very impressed , roof came out excellent and once they finished my yard was spotless. Sammy made it very easy to get the work done on time

  American Sons Professional replaced my roof, including hauling all of the garbage from the old roof, despite the location making it impossible to rent a dumpster. They also replaced the liner in my chimney, which revealed an issue with the chimney itself, and then sorted out the additional chimney problem in short order. All of this work was done with the utmost professionalism, highest quality, and most responsive communication of any trades person I have ever hired. Sammy and his team will do right by you if you hire them, and I will be using them any time I have an issue that they are able to tackle.

  I recently had a excellent experience with American Sons Professionals Company. I have an older house with many angles and slopes. American Sons replaced the shingles, roof decking, underlayment and skylights. They did outstanding work on my roof and completed the job in a very timely manner. The team was honest, reliable and professional - The work performed was outstanding and of the highest quality, and done the correct way. I highly recommend them!

  Ryan — the chimney liner install is usually a single-day job, and a full roof replacement is a multi-day project with different crews and sequencing, so the fact that the same contractor handled both well is worth noting. Most roofers don't do liner work, and most chimney specialists don't take on full roofs. The pace-vs-quality tradeoff you mentioned is real — the contractors moving the fastest are usually skipping ice and water shield in valleys, cutting corners on flashing detail, or installing over decking that should have been replaced. Glad we got both jobs right, and looking forward to the siding project when you're ready.

  Finding the right siding contractor through a Google search is a process, especially given how many quote-by-phone outfits dominate the first page. The in-person estimate process exists because siding decisions can't be made off a phone call: profile, exposure, trim detail, and color have to be reviewed standing at the house. Compressing siding, roof replacement, and hardwood refinishing into a single window was a scheduling call that worked because the crews could move from one trade to the next without losing days to mobilizations. The demolition mess is unavoidable on a siding tear-off, but cleanup and magnet sweeps for nails are part of the job, not an extra. Glad the curb appeal landed where you wanted it Merv.

Another one wrapped up in North Jersey. Full siding replacement using James Hardie fiber cement lap siding, new soffits all the way around, and recessed lighting installed underneath. Hardie board is one of the best products out there for this climate. It handles the freeze-thaw cycles, won't rot, holds paint for years, and it's fire resistant. Costs more than vinyl up front but you're not touching it again for decades. The soffit lights were the homeowner's idea and they came out great. Whole side of the house lights up at night, adds curb appeal and makes it a lot safer walking around back after dark. Clean lines, tight seams, everything sealed properly.
