  Terrible. Worst experience ever. Still fighting and going to court over shotty work. They wont even honor the warranty. Customer service said they were told not to help me and hung up. I called back and they blocked my number. Ahh was just looking at my house from the deracho and its still damaged cause ABC scamed me. Dont use these scam artists.

  They stole my email address to write fake reviews about how great they are. Absolute scam! The owner himself stole my email to write fake reviews. Chances are, he's never had a legit good review. Edit: i noticed it several months ago and didn't say anything till today. Only because the emails on Angi have gotten out of control. I never signed up for Angi. I don't even live in the U.S., least of all Minneapolis. Whatever is going on is through Angi.

  We are not sure what is happening but have reported the issue to Google. We have received calls as well, if you look at the rest of our reviews you can see they are legit. Only today did something change. Thank you for notifying us.

  Someone wrote fake reviews about this business on Angi illegally using my email to do so. When i investigated, it was found to be someone named Steve and Parker Nelson. From emails recieved, they claim to be the owners. This company just seems like a scam in and of itself.

  Scheduled an appointment through Home Advisor online to get an estimate to side our house. At 8:40 this morning I received an email from American Building Contractors stating my appointment for today has been canceled. And to call with any questions. WTH? Jerks suck!

  We never like to cancel appointments on the same day, but sometimes mother nature doesn't agree with the Customer Service Standards ABC believes and practices daily. Due to rain yesterday, it was not appropriate to have a Home Exterior Consultant attempt to inspect your home before providing an estimate. At ABC, we strongly believe in providing a no surprise estimate to our customers. We called and left a voicemail and sent an email with options to reschedule. Seemingly we are unable to reach you and never heard back from you either, until we saw this Google Review. After reviewing an email exchange between yourself and our Support Team, it was noticed that the expectation was that we would simply show up and provide a free estimate without direct conversation with you. Although our Consultants are brilliant with design options and appreciate the chance to show it off with 3D renderings for our homeowners, unfortunately they still lack the mind reading skills to accomplish providing same day estimates with the exact material and color(s) you would want. We do not condone name calling among our employees, nor would expect our team to tolerate that from a current or potential customer, so we are in agreement regarding not wanting to work together. If anything we are glad we were available for you to vent your frustrations. While they have nothing to do with us, we hope you feel better. We wish you the best and a brighter weekend ahead!

  Extremely dissappointed with the service from this company - And I didn't even have a chance to see their work. I called to schedule a siding repair on June 21 and was told I was added to the calendar but it would likely be about 3-4 weeks …

  American Building Contractors did an outstanding job replacing my shingles. From start to finish, the process was efficient, well-organized, and professionally executed. Dave Nelson, Pelayo, Oliver, and the crew arrived promptly at 7:00 AM, clearly explained the plan for the day, and moved quickly without cutting corners. The entire job was completed by mid-afternoon, which was impressive given the quality of the work. What stood out most: * Communication: Clear, accurate, and consistent throughout the project. No surprises. * Preparation: The team took care to protect everything around the home before starting. * Cleanup: Exceptional. The crew thoroughly cleaned the site, used magnetic tools to pick up nails and other debris, and finished with a blower to ensure everything was spotless. The combination of speed, attention to detail, and professionalism made this a very smooth experience. Highly recommend.

  Amazing experience. Wasn't sure which company to go with and to trust. They did our roof and it looks amazing and most importantly, they fixed all the leaks. Would recommend to everyone.
