  I had a quote put together for one exterior door and the quote $3957, not sure if the door was made of gold but anyone in there right mind should know that this price was insane, has another door and window company offer the same services with a beautiful exterior door, for $1,215 and this was a door of our choice it also include the handle and lock where as this company didn’t supply that!!it pays to shop around, there are honest companies out there and there are companies that only see a dollar sign, shop around people!!!!

  I have received about 10 requests, roughly weekly, to do a review of work by AM Group. I thought I would wait until they finished the job, but it appears that that may never happen, so here is a review. On November 2, 2023 I signed a contract with AM Group to replace our old steel roof with a new one. The contract included snow rails, eavestroughs and replacement of two skylights. The work was to be done in the first week of May, 2024. It is now September 1, 2024 and the work is mostly done but still not complete. There have been over 100 emails back and forth: I would send one asking when they expected to finish the job, they would assure me it would be done by a specific date a few days or weeks in the future, they would miss the date, and I would ask again. Our main contact was with the sales person or the billing person; even though they told us to communicate with the site supervisor, he never responded to any communications, so we were always working two people removed from anyone who could actually sort out the problems. Their excuses for not finishing the job got repetitive: • the wrong materiel was delivered to them: with six months of lead time, this excuse was poor and it continued to be used even into July, nine months after the contract start date • it rained: even when there was no rain anywhere near our house • some workman didn't show up for some reason. It seems that AM Group outsources all the work they do. The team that did the eavestroughs did excellent work, although they were not told to supply and install a take-off for a rain barrel, which was part of our contract, so we never got that. The roofers were also quite competent and did a good job, but that part of the work was plagued by incorrect materiel: the wrong skylights, incorrectly bent corner pieces, etc. When the roofers installed the skylights, some interior trim was damaged. AM Group sent a couple of guys to fix this, and they (a) did not fix the problem, and (b) did more damage

  Hi Peter We were a little surprised that you would put up a negative review with the special details that were required on your project and saying that the project is not complete. - There were delays on the snow retention system which we originally wanted to install our own manufacturer. You requested a different manufacturer and although we reached out many times your recommendation was not feasible due to lack of response. Therefore we continued with the original scope and had to send it out for custom paint to match your roof. So yes there was some delay on that part. - The rain barrels were to be on site at point of install which were not and was promised. - The skylights were a misorder on our part and we corrected this right away as you are aware. As far as the interior trim this is something that we are not responsible for and was never quoted as an interior service. Our sales consultant attempted to remedy this free of charge which unfortunately you were not pleased with and never made us aware. Again thank you for choosing AM for your roof as it is definitely a gorgeous product and install. Feel free to reach out to us with any concerns

  They took three separate times to finish spray foaming my attic. Each time I had to call them back to finish it as they did an inadequate job obvious huge gaps. I didn’t end up calling them back the last time I finished it myself.

  Good Day Kolton It's disappointing to read this review almost a year after job completion. I went back and reviewed your file and your contract was to spray the attic floor of your home. I also see that we went back two additional times to spray bulkheads not in contract in good faith as they were not accessible from the attic space and covered by drywall. Sorry you did not reach out to us to rectify the potential issue.

  Absolutely pathetic service. I have never experienced such unprofessional approach towards customers. Booked a roof inspection on Oct 26th and they messed up the booking, called me on the day of inspection to apologize and rebook for another day for the inspection. The second time nobody showed up or called and when called back to enquire, they have no clue of what I am saying. They only gave me a date, haven't actually booked any inspection. So then I booked an inspection for the third time and this time a person shows up at my door to tell me that they are not equipped to access my roof. This absolutely baffles me, a roofing company shows up at my house to tell me that they are not equipped to access roof. They are very good in giving promises and left telling me that this will be a high priority since AM roofing messed up repeatedly and now its going to be the end of November and still no word. They deducted money from my credit card for doing nothing unless they charge for promises. I called them back to enquire about the plan neither the receptionist or the person who does the roof inspection knows why the money got deducted but they promised me thwy will come do the roof inspection as a high priority. So in short unprofessional, disorganised, lack of communication, incompetent but they have the audacity to ask for stars and reviews. I gave the one star so I can post this. Also please don't give them credit card details. They don't what they are deducting money for.

  owen sound location. called and booked a quote. the day of appointment (friday) the person providing quote calls and says he cant make it. will try for sunday or monday. week goes by. never see him. call office to rebook. finally comes. says how professional they are. quote was out to lunch. thousands over other quotes. joke of a business, ripping people off. go elsewhere. do not recommend.

  Do not hire this company. Especially the Owen Sound location. I had a representative show up at my property. A lengthy conversation between him and myself regarding the work they offer and work I'd like to have completed. He told me I could expect an estimate in a few days. 3 weeks later I email him....no response. 2 weeks later I called the office and inquired. Was told he would be in touch. Again....2 weeks later I reached out to the company secretary. Told her this was my last attempt. She assured me I would be hearing from him ( the guy whom came to my residence). Well.....STRIKE 3. 3 weeks later.....you guessed it! Crickets. Bye...Bye AM Roofing. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

  I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not sign a contract with them. I thought I looked it over carefully but apparently they checked off “reuse flashing” on the contract. This was never discussed with us and 3 paralegals did not notice it over the course of months until AM Roofing pointed it out. Two years after the roof was installed we had a leak in the roof which led to a bowing of the roof (OSB board, not plywood) in a roof that had never leaked before. When I called them to inform them of the leak they did not respond as quickly as I would have liked and when they did they were antagonistic, rude, aggressive and unhelpful. All they would do is a temporary fix by caulking around the area. Basically the message was it’s your problem. After having another roofer plus a home inspector look at our roof we learned that it was 100% not the chimney (that was their claim to wash their hands of it) and that the flashing was installed improperly, which led to the roof leaking, which led to our roof bowing as OSB board will swell when it gets wet. The inspector told us if the chimney was leaking he would see rust when he looked up from the fireplace and there was none. Interestingly, after the caulking was done, the roof appeared to stop leaking. We have been told that the caulking is no longer doing it’s job so we are now in the process of finding someone to redo the flashing and bring this nightmare to an end. Response to AM Roofing’s response: I am also disappointed that it came to this however in October/November 2021 I tried over and over again to deal with this matter privately. When it became obvious that I was getting nowhere I hired a paralegal to represent me. Had you been willing to come to a reasonable solution it would have remained private. There are absolutely no false accusations in my review. Your response contains misleading statements. After the recent (and only) offer to which you have alluded, I chose to end my legal pursuit as the time a

  Dear Elizabeth Miranda, We find it extremely disappointing that you have chosen to leave a false allocations on a review. You were provided the report by your Paralegal that there was damage to the siding around the chimney with various holes, gaps, missing sealants as well as no building wrap on the chimney which is an OBC compliance. We provided a solution and offered to provide a free quote to fix siding issues and have never heard back from you. At this point and time we have completed our work above and beyond and if you wish for a siding estimate feel free to reach out to us.

  Carter Price! Yeah, he’s in sales. That word alone makes many squeamish. Carter went above and beyond to assist us, especially the second time we reached out. He provided accurate, extremely well priced quotes, great communication, and options to our challenges. We are very pleased with our roof, and that’s why we contacted AM Group a second time (different matter). We have great workmanship and a super warranty. The work crews were professional, friendly. They cleaned up at the end of their work day. We have nothing negative to report on AM Group Exteriors. Thank you for your assistance and professionalism. Additionally, both projects were started (and perhaps more importantly) completed in a very timely manner.

  We have been very pleased with the quality of the people and work performed on our house by AM Group Exteriors. Separate work details included a roof repair and replacement of winter damaged eavestrough. All work was completed in a timely, competent and professional manner.   We had some minor issues fixed in our attic along with a large top up of insulation Dec. 18 2025 by this company. From initial sales consult to the actual work being done, these guys are top notch all the way and we highly recommend them for all of your needs. Pricing was fair and the service amazing including clean up afterwards.

  I am a stickler for details and it is difficult to exceed my expectations. AM Group did just that when topping up my attic insulation. From protecting my flooring, spending 2h in my attic prepping for insulation (Moore vent installation and leveling existing ins.), to doing extensive cleanup afterwards. These are the pros you want looking after your home.

  I have had a good experience with AMGroup Exteriors so far. The men that did the insulation at our home were very good at their job. They were effiencent and didn't waste any time. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up. The men showed us what was done and left the signed copy of the work that was done inside the ceiling cover in the back bedroom.
