  The quality of the installation and materials (CertainTeed) was good, but the warranty has serious issues that any homeowner should know before working with this company. 1️⃣ The warranty only starts after the final payment is made • The contract clearly states: “We provide the warranty after the final payment is received.” • This means any mistakes or problems during installation are not covered until full payment is made, giving the company full control over when the warranty begins. 2️⃣ The warranty only covers workmanship errors • Interior damage caused by leaks is capped at $250. • Anything above that is the homeowner’s responsibility, even if the leak was caused by installation mistakes. 3️⃣ The warranty can be voided very easily • If anyone else touches the roof, installs anything on it (solar panels, cables, equipment), or even walks on it improperly → the warranty is void. • Neglecting gutter cleaning or roof maintenance also voids the warranty. 4️⃣ External damages are not covered • Wind, hail, fire, floods, earthquakes, or any other natural events are not included, as these are covered by homeowners insurance, not the company’s warranty. Some of my neighbors had their roofs installed with a 20-year warranty. It may seem shorter than the “50-year” or “lifetime” warranty offered by this company, but in practice, their warranty actually protects the homeowner better, because it is not full of conditions that mainly protect the company. With Always Forward Roofing, the warranty is designed to protect the company more than the homeowner, and even with the term “lifetime,” the actual coverage for the homeowner is very limited. The warranty looks great on paper, but in practice, all the terms protect the company more than the homeowner. The real issue isn’t wind or fire—that’s covered by insurance—the problem is that the company controls the warranty completely after receiving the final payment, while the homeowner is subject to strict conditions, and the c

We also understand your concerns regarding the workmanship warranty, and we’d like to provide some additional context for both you and future homeowners reading this. Our goal has always been - and will always be - transparency and standing behind our work. Regarding when the workmanship warranty begins: - The warranty becomes active upon final payment, which is standard across the construction industry. However, this does not mean we don’t stand behind our work during the project. Any installation-related issues that arise during the build process are addressed immediately as part of the job itself - not deferred or denied. Regarding workmanship coverage and interior damage: - Our workmanship warranty is designed specifically to cover installation-related issues with the roofing system. The interior damage cap is in place to encourage homeowners to notify us quickly if something arises so we can address it before it escalates. That said, in practice, we have never had a workmanship-related warranty situation where a homeowner was left paying out of pocket for a legitimate issue. When something is on us, we show up and make it right. Regarding warranty conditions: - Items such as third-party alterations (solar, satellite, or other penetrations) and basic maintenance requirements are included to protect the integrity of the roofing system. Once other parties modify the roof, we can no longer guarantee performance in those areas. These guidelines are consistent with both manufacturer requirements and standard industry practices. It’s also important to highlight that every roof we install includes not only our lifetime workmanship warranty, but also a non-prorated manufacturer warranty through CertainTeed, which covers material defects - giving homeowners

  I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley Smith, owner of Always Forward Roofing, at a CertainTeed contractor event where I was presenting on AI, SEO, and digital marketing for roofing companies. Although I haven't personally hired Always Forward Roofing for a roofing project, I was incredibly impressed by Ashley's professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment to growing her business. After learning about Project Map It, she immediately subscribed to our services and began building out her Project Map It portfolio by: Connecting her Google reviews, adding some CompanyCam photos through our integration with them; Integrated with her ABC Supply deliveries, and even embedded our map into her WordPress website within hours. When I presented in the afternoon, I was able to show all of the other contractors in the room how easy it was to onboard. It's rare to meet a roofing company owner who is so proactive, open to innovation, and dedicated to showcasing their work in a transparent way for homeowners. Based on my experience working with Ashley, I can confidently say she is passionate about her customers, her team, and continuously improving her business.   Working with Always Forward Roofing was really easy, April walked us through the whole process and explained our options with roof and gutter replacement. Roof and gutters were replaced because of hail damage and they worked with the insurance carrier to make sure the replacement was all covered. Finished product looks great, would definitely recommend if you need to replace a roof.

  I could not be more impressed with always forward roofing, Kimber was amazing from start to finish , they are willing to fight for you all the way to the finish line ! We had issues with the insurance company getting approval, but that did not stop her from getting us fully approved!! They did the job in the time they quoted and did a great job .
