  I have file a complaint with DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS due deceptive practices. I was lied to from day one. NOTE money was never an issue this was an Insurance claim. I meet with the young man who did the estimate. three times once before the contract was signed and then twice afterward. Assured me everything would be taken care of including the gutters that weren’t in the contract. Shame on me for not reading the contract and making sure the gutters were included and taking him at his word shame on him for not being a man of his word. Anyways call the office and ask them to have the young man to contact me never return my call. My wife spoke to Michelle and said she would speak to him and call her back. Never did. Had to reopen the claim and hire another roofing company to finish the job. Which we would have given them the opportunity to finish the job we weren’t looking for anything for free. It was no issue reopening the claim. But according to the other roofing company the work they did was subpar. . And that they used OSB instead of plywood they charge for plywood. I will not recommend them to my family and friends.

It's important for both parties to fully review and understand the contract before signing, as it outlines the full scope of work. I (Michelle) told your wife that we DO NOT make verbal agreements. That is why we have all our clients sign a contract outlining ALL work that is to be completed so these situations do not occur. We did in fact complete all work outlined on the contract that your wife signed to your satisfaction and payment was made in full. 62 photos were taken and shared with you from beginning to the end of the project, including the wood replacement. We feel our integrity and honesty was in tack throughout this entire project. If there is anything we can do please reach out to us at the office. We wish nothing but goodness for you and your wife.   I've never had to deal with a company as unorganized and ridiculous as I have with these. We hired them to do the roof and windows. The roof took longer than expected as we were told they didn't have enough material. After they fixed that we waited 3 months for windows to come in. They show up and begin removing windows when we all learned the measurements were off and not enough windows were ordered. They refused to correct THIER mistake. Instead they brought a bunch of wood material to make the windows fit. They had planned to just cut holes and not even say anything. The worst company for customer service and professionalism. They yelled and talked to my wife in a very degrading manner. After we Repeatedly having to call for updates I would highly recommend staying away from this company altogether unless you like being lied to and strung along. I'm sure everyone has their own experience, and this is mine. EDIT. Their response is complete fabrication. My wife didn't threaten anyone with anything other than contacting our lawyer. Only because they refused multiple times to fix the problems we found. They NEVER had the right windows. I have the same video footage as they claim to have and it shows quite the contraire. They were rude and unprofessional everytime we had a question or concer. The owner Jeremy continues to harass my wife via text messages and voicemails. They are a disgrace to every small business owner out there. Just look at how they respond to people with bad reviews, hostile and nasty. That there is their core and true colors. You're organization is a joke. You're hostile and you don't have a clue what you're doing. I will continue to spread the word of your companies incompetence. Worst business I've ever had to deal with. And you call yourself professionals. Ha. Can't even measure or order correctly lol.

  Google should really make it to where people can not go back and edit their reviews after the owner replies. This is the 2nd person that’s changed their review after we reply to add in things that just simply are not true. And your edit section actually starts after “professionalism”. Please upload your video to google, we would love to see it. Google will not allow us to upload ours showing your wife calling our guys names. I am 100% certain that our guys would never be so disrespectful! I find it very ironic that your wife never mentioned this to us while we were on the phone with her letting her know we were leaving because of how SHE treated our guys?!? Yes, we respond hostile because you are slandering our name! A name that we have worked hard to build up. We believe in integrity, honesty and hard work. And it’s not right that people like you get to threaten business owners with a bad review to get your way. Everyone who deals with the public knows that sometimes you get clients that you have to walk away from. When a business walks away from a client…that speaks volumes! So keep bullying and lying your way through life. We will continue to work hard to have integrity and honesty. My first reply to his initial review is below… Mr. Hopkins, we knew this review was coming as your wife threatened us multiple times throughout this process. She was a horrible person to work with. And we 100% have the right to fire a client that is nasty to our employees. We have video recording showing her yelling at our guys and calling them names such as "retards". You were told in the beginning it would take 2 weeks for your roof install. It was 3 due to weather. Yes we came up short on materials for your install but we went and picked up the materials needed and finished your install the same day we started it.   This review used to be a long conversation with the office of this company however I have decided to delete all of those details and just say this. Pay no attention to the good reviews because the bad reviews are the ones that tell the truth about this businesses practices after the work has been performed. This business showed no proof that wood had been replaced, there was no discussion before the wood was replaced or after. I just received a bill and took my concern to the company and I was met with hostility, excuses, and unprofessional communication. You’re welcome to call their office for their side of things however, that won’t do you justice when doing your due diligence in selecting a company to replace your roof. I should have done more research and for that I’m now paying for it. Take your time to choose a company. After the discussion I’ve had today with this company, I deeply regret having dealt with them for my roof. Their communication up to this point was amazing, the roof looks good and the crew wasn’t bad however the customer service e is something of another story after the job has been performed. And yes I was blocked on Facebook messenger (our only means of communication) even though I was continuously professional in my dealings with this company. I have the messages of proof regardless what the company claims. I hate leaving bad reviews however, customers need to hear of the bad along with the good. This company keeps updating this review to condone their actions but it boils down to poor communication and professionalism and delegation of duties regarding their responsibility to the customer. They’re making it sound like they’re not getting paid which isn’t the case. As I’ve stated earlier in this review I’ve never threatened (except for with a bad review) or harassed (except for with a bad review) in any way this company.   This client signed an agreement like every other client has over the last 25 years. This agreement does have in big bold lettering "Wood Replacement Extra If Needed" and explains the potential for extra material cost with a box beside it where clients initial proving that they read this portion of the agreement. There is no way we can tell if wood will be needed until we tear off the roof. It is unlawful for us to install new roofing over top of rotting wood. She had 2 sheets that had to be replaced, had it been a significant amount of wood to replace we surely would have communicated that to her. Proof/pictures of wood replacement has been sent. I have personally communicated with her on her terms through this whole project via FB messenger. We tried calling her and could never get an answer or a call back. FB was the only means to communicate. I took the time to answer all her questions and concerns in a timely fashion. Went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and communicated with. And at the end of the project, she threatened the company with a bad review because of $110 wood replacement bill. We fulfilled our agreement 100% and installed a beautiful roof that she loves and will enjoy for many years to come. We would have loved to be able to make this client 100% satisfied but after explaining the law of replacing rotting wood she then threatened us with a bad review and at that point I took it very personal. It’s not fair to business owners that work so hard to keep the integrity of their company up when clients like this can come in and leave 1* review for a job well done that they absolutely love!   All About Roofing applied architectural asphalt shingles on our house in 2017. The small pieces are attached to the strip with a glue. The glue is not not satisfactory. The roofer came back once to nail the top edges of them to the house after our complaint. Some still are falling off! It may be beautiful, but this is Not Acceptable.

  Very disappointed. Hired them to tear off old, including repair sheathing and install new roof. Leaked! My husband called, they sent a worker who put Caulk on it, the worker said they didn't do the flashing right! Continued to leak, so he called again and explained we were at work at the time, 15 minutes later I arrived home early just as the "owner and son" ( which they told me then who they were and also my husband when they initially estimated the job) showed up when they knew we weren't supposed to be home! He told me "this is the second tube of Caulk and it's $6" yes these were his exact words. I paid a Lot for a New roof that should not be caulked. My roof continued to leak and caused damage that had to be fixed the Right way at my expense and definitely not by them. I am honest and local, all about roofing is not, Shame on them. This company is all about consumer exploitation, we are not a competitor, we are a very hard working family that saved for a quality roof which we were promised but we did not get.

  Good afternoon, after reading your review I am very confused. The owner has not been on a roof in years, he is retired. So there would have not been an "owner & son" that came out. And we always call before we come out to any home, we do not just show up unannounced. Also, we take full responsibility on all of our work. We back and guarantee all of our new roofs with a warranty that we stand behind. And we certainly would never tell you how much caulk we use to do anything or the price of any of our materials. We are very professional and very honest. I am not sure if you have the wrong business or if this is one of our competitors that like to slander our name. This wouldn't be the first time this has happened by our local competitors. We can not help you any further if you do not disclose your name.   I have used All About Roofing previously for two smaller projects since moving back to Greensboro in 2018. A high school buddy of mine sent over a roofing company that had replaced his roof due to hail damage. That company worked with the insurance company to get approved to replace my roof. Then the hard press began. They want me to sign a contract that was not completely filled in, a blank check. I called All About Roofing and they picked up the ball. They present a price that was less than the insurance adjuster estimate. More importantly, there was a miscommunication that was equally my fault and partially theirs. We quickly came to a quick, equitable solution. This proved to me that I was dealing with a fair, reputable company. Highly recommend.

  Absolute highest remarks for All About Roofing Co. & Crew! I mean a first class job too. They replaced my homes roof in 2019 and my detached building in 2024. The Crew was super friendly, courteous, cleaned up well and even blew the complete driveway off with a leaf blower! I am very impressed! Excellent job guys and I strongly recommend them.

  A big thank you to everyone at All About Roofing for the excellent installation job for our new metal roof. The crew arrived at 6:30 a.m. and finished at 8 p.m., dodging another day of rain! The crew did an excellent job cleaning up the yard, and work area. This was the 4th and largest job Jeremy and his crew have done for us over the last years, including siding, vent boots, gutter guards, and minor leaks.
