Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Financing and Unfair Practices I would never recommend A.G.U. Roofing Company after my experience. I originally contacted them about getting a new roof and solar using the PACE financing program offered by the State of Florida. A.G.U. told me in writing that the interest rate would be 7.99%, which sounded reasonable. Based on that, I agreed to move forward. When I got the final numbers, the rate had jumped to 12.79%, far higher than what was promised. I told them that was too much and decided to do just the roof and pay cash instead. I ended up paying over $20,000 for the roof alone, which I later found out was very high compared to other estimates I received. Now, even after I’ve paid in full for the roof, A.G.U. is trying to charge me a $1,000 cancellation fee just because I didn’t do the solar. That is completely unfair, especially since their own misleading information about the interest rate is the reason I canceled the solar in the first place. This company’s sales tactics are deceptive, their pricing is excessive, and their business practices are unacceptable. Be very careful before signing anything with them. I truly regret doing business with A.G.U. Roofing.

Great roof & nice crew, punctual & professional. Roof finished well & passed the County inspection. Administratively there's a big difference between what Insurer agreed to pay. AGU now decline to provide promised wind mitigation report until the extra water damage to fascia they found is paid. 4/30/24 finally received limited # of water-damaged proof photos from AGU to homeowner. Without these proofs, our hands have been tied pursuing Farmers, who handled roof since Hurricane Ian roof and house damage. Staff are polite & professional. However, it's best to pursue collections on bills (from UNapproved fascia damage) when they've at least reached a 30-day old stage.

BEWARE of this roofing company!!! They commit insurance fraud and tear shingles off your roof to get it covered by insurance!! They already have other pending investigations for it and they are still doing it!!

Getting a new roof, especially to complete a home sale, is NEVER easy! But the guys at AGU made the entire process painless and worry free. Not only did they give me the best price for my entire roof, including solar panels removal and reset; they helped with every single step. The project manager was in constant contact with me and always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Every worker that came by was efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They also expedited my project to make sure I could close on time! I can’t say enough about AGU Roofing & Solar. Excellent work product and STELLAR customer service😁

I had my roof replaced by AGU a few years ago and they were professional and efficient. So much so, that I had a re-roof done on a second property just recently. They communicate well and did an excellent job. I recommend them and would definitely use again.

Florida weather finally took a toll on my roof last year and I had to get a new roof. AGU’s whole team were super professional, persistent with my insurance, and very efficient. Once approved they got to work and were in and out leaving my home looking brand new. Would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a reliable company.

AGU did a phenomenal job putting our metal roof on. They were very knowledgeable and meticulous. We got several estimates and they gave us a stronger quality metal for the same price. All the roofers were very polite and picked up most all debris every single day. We were kept informed on a daily basis. We plan to use AGU for our new windows next year. They're a quality company.

AGU is great. Marcos was my neighbor for years. He’s a great guy. Today with so many companies out there that are either owned by a hedge fund corporation or just looking to scam you, this is a local family owned business that is just looking to do a great service. Their communication is great and they do what they say they will do. I highly recommend them.

Exceptional Service from Airon P. and AGU Roofing & Solar Airon P. and the entire AGU Roofing & Solar team delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. The communication was clear, the scheduling was smooth, and the workmanship was top‑tier. Airon walked me through every step of the process, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident in every decision. The crew was professional, efficient, and respectful of my property. The final result looks fantastic — high‑quality materials, clean installation, and a roof that gives me real peace of mind. It’s rare to find a company that combines expertise, integrity, and customer care at this level. I highly recommend Airon P. and AGU Roofing & Solar to anyone needing roofing or solar work. Truly a 5‑star experience.

We have been working with AGU for almost a year (to no fault of their own) fighting with insurance to get our roof. They were helpful and knowledgeable during the entire process and even gave us the name of an attorney to help us. They handled absolutely everything paperwork wise and answered our many questions. The roofing crew was hard working and extremely efficient. Airon and Jenna were truly amazing to work with!
